> 3 dayI returned these headphones they were not really for me. They are quite plastic, the leads are of poor quality and I feel resentful paying out for replacement leads. The sound was very neutral, but to be honest I think I much prefer my Fidelio X2 in terms of sound, comfort, and build quality and overall value for money.

> 3 dayCrips highs, clear voices and instruments, not overpowered lows, thats how I resume the sound performance of the very amazing HD 600. The only drawback for me is the pale esthetic of the cans, otherwise I would have given all 5 stars.

> 3 dayThese phones pull you into the music, no other way to describe them. It is almost impossible to put a song on and not tap your feet to the rhythm, bob your head to the bass or be immersed in absolute acoustic perfection of instruments and vocals. The higher the production quality of the source is the more shocked and awed you are at the sounds you are hearing. The level of clarity of these headphones and the amount they reveal is astounding, even more so then I found from my Q701s with more textured bass to boot.

> 3 dayIve had my Sennheiser HD600 headphones for 20 years [Amazon, Feb. 2002]. They have outlived 3 desktop headphone amps and every other piece of electronics I have ever owned (except my beloved Sota turntable).

> 3 dayCuffia dalle doti straordinarie! Accetta volentieri upgrade, e ci mancherebbe...

> 3 dayIt seems the manufacturer wants to cut everything penny of the cost. Gone is the nice storage box and gone is the beautiful marble plastic band. It looks like a sub $100 cans or even cheaper. It sounds the same as old version that I bought 15 years ago.

Greater than one weekI bought these headphones last Christmas (I gave my money to a friend who bought them with his Best Buy employee discount) and have been loving them ever since. Most people have gotten used to using those cheap Apple earbuds and dont realize the sound quality that theyre missing. Most portable audio players WILL require an amplifier to get the best performance out of these headphones (I recommend the PA2V2 portable amplifier from Electric Avenues). The only portable audio player I know of that can power these headphones without an amplifier is the Pono player. Ive been using these headphones with my Pono player in balanced mode (thanks to a custom cable I bought from Custom Cans in the UK), and the sound is absolutely amazing.

> 3 dayThey are Sennheiser HD600s! Legendary! They may look a little different, but they are the same on the inside. Sennheiser still makes the drivers in Ireland as always. Sound is super detailed and clear. One star for noise cancelation because they are open back headphones. Have a good amp for the best sound and better amps will only sound better with these. These are very common and referenced in many other headphones for reviews. They are the SM57 of headphones. Classic and around for many years for a reason.
