Sennheiser HD 600 - Audiophile Hi-Res Open Back Dynamic Headphone

The build of the HD600 is very good. It has a hard plastic surrounding around the ear cups, and the same hard plastic for the headband, with memory foam bumps on the part that touches your head, and metal hinges to adjust the height. The grills are metal, and the earpads are memory foam with velour covering them. When bought new, I hear that the clamp force is very strong, and the pads are stiff. Fortunate for me, I bought mine used, and the previous owner had already stretched the metal hinges so that they are very comfortable and practically float on my head. Overall very good.

Sounds amazing but they dont cancel any noise cause theyre open back so dont get them if you want then to mute out sound. They are also pretty comfortable and I have a very sensitive head. The cord is very long which can be good and bad, I wrap mine around something to make it shorter.

I have been buying headphones for years now, looking for just the right one. It has been a long journey, but I am finally here. The last pair I owned was a pair of Stax electrostatics that was so uncomfortable I could only wear them for half an hour at a time. (It doesnt matter how good headphones sound if they hurt you.) The HD 600 is the last headphone Ill buy. It does exactly what I want with precision, grace and charm, and I can comfortably wear them all day long. Anything above this gets so far past the point of diminishing returns that it would become embarrassing and financially foolish for me to go there.

Die Lieferung durch Amazon erfolgte wie gewohnt zügügig. Auf der Suche nach einem neuen HiFi Kopfhörer sollte dieser einen älteren AKG-Kopfhörer ablösen. Nach der Nutzung verschiedener Mittelklassekopfhörern und dem kritischen lesen von Bewertungen viel meine Wahl auf den Sennheiser HD 600. Das Hörerlebnis hat mich voll überzeugt. Differenziertes Klangbild mit satten Bässen ohne zu dröhnen. Bei diesem Hörer ist mir erstmals aufgefallen wie wichtig die Musikquelle ist. Am Handy angeschlossen klingt er gut, aber erst am Receiver der Stereoanlage (mit gleicher digitaler Datei) macht er erst so richtig Druck (bei gleicher Lautstärke). Ich würde mir diesen Kopfhörer wieder kaufen.

Fine tuned product with no bugs or issues. Sound quality over all is excellent. Works great with all front ends.

Einfach ein super bequemer Luxuskopfhörer: da stimmt alles, von der Verpackung in edler Holzschachtel bis zu einem superdifferenzierten sound. Habe ihn jetzt schon eine Weile und ich würde ihn nicht mehr hergeben.

I use these for mixing my studio projects on the go. I can’t stress enough how accurately the mix is represented in these headphones. They are definitely a game changer. Highly recommend.
