> 3 dayThis headphone sounds good. Must have headphone amp for best sound. They might be a bit warm if you need to wear a long time during summer months.

> 3 dayI knew what I was in for, and honestly I shouldnt have bought them. Because these headphones arent for me. But I have the shp 9500s and I was looking to upgrade from them. Honestly, I like the sound of my shp 9500s more than these. These are what some people call neutral, but to me the highs sound veiled. Overall, the sound just kind of sounds distant from my head (highs and vocals) and a little boxed in. Personally, I prefer some high end sparkle. These headphones did make me realize what soundstage is. And honestly, I also prefer the shp 9500s for being more intimate. These make the sounds come further from your head, but it isnt magical. It doesnt make things sound more 3d. Just.. honestly sounds more distant. Listening to my shp 9500s after these, does make me realize a few flaws with them. They do have some treble peaks that are a bit fatiguing after a while, but Ive gotten used to their sound signature, I like my ears to hurt a bit while I listen to music. Also, the shp 9500s have that treble grain, but thats the only reason why Im looking to upgrade from them. Also would be nice to have bass that doesnt roll off. Which both these headphones have that problem. Audiophiles say that you dont need that deep bass, but that is just simply not true. You have to be kidding yourself if you think bass isnt important to music.

> 3 daySo, Ive decided to check legendary HD600 at my home studio, just in case. Compared them with Oppo PM-3(yeah, closed, I know) and DT 990 Pro using DX3 Pro DAC. Sound is good, loud and clear, better isolation then DT 990 Pro, clearer than PM-3, but. But DT 990 sounds a just a tiny bit better for me and...they more than twice cheaper. End of story. Overall good headphones, for sure.

> 3 dayI have had these phones several years now and they are excellent. I much prefer these for accuracy when compared to the veiled and unnaturally creamy sound of the HD650s which I ended up returning. The phones are also more comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

> 3 dayOne of the best open back pairs at sub $400 price range in the market. Very comfortable on the head and the ears. The drawback is, well, its open back so Im pretty much can only use it in my room.

> 3 dayI picked these up last Christmas 2017 & overnight they replaced four other pairs of headphones I have! I do prefer the neutral sound signature of these vs other pairs that claim to be studio monitors but in reality arent neutral.
