> 3 dayThese sound amazing. I highly recommend getting some sort of headphone amp/dac so you can get the most from these fabulous cans. I heard a pair plugged into an Eddie Current Balancing Act tube amp and could not believe my ears. You can always upgrade your amp, but might not ever want to upgrade these headphones. Although, the much more expensive HD800s do sound amazing.

> 3 dayI listen to classical music and jazz. I use my Sennheiser HD600 headphones and a tube headphone amplifier made by Antique Sound Labs. The HD600s are very revealing of inner depth, detail and the ambience of the recording environment (hall or studio, microphone placement, etc.). With the HD600s you can hear subtleties that you never noticed before, like the decay of musical notes, vibrato, the pedal action of harpsichords, the occasional page turn, cough or instrument key.

> 3 dayWhen the headset worked the sound reproduction was great, but when the right side would cutout turning the headset from stereo to mono it was not worth the money. The only way to get the right side to engage again was to increase the volume substantially. Just a note. I have two other headphones made by Sennheiser and they work perfectly.

> 3 dayI love everything about these. They are neutral sounding nothing over emphasized. They fit snugged at first after wearing for a little bit they conform to head size. The color is different and to me they look very pretty. I am using with JDS Atom headphone amp.

> 3 dayThese are excellent sounding headphones. Wonderful midrange, and pretty smooth highs, though the bass does not extend to the subwoofer area - but it is very clear. I actually bought a pear of these and the Sennheiser HD 660S, with the idea that I would choose the best ones to keep and send back the other one. That decision was much harder to make than I thought it was going to be. I really liked them both. I think the HD 660S had a little smoother highs and were slightly warmer. Thats probably why I kept the 660S and sent back the HD 600s, though it was a hard decision. I planned to use the headphones for general listening.
