Pair these with a proper amp and you are sure to be happy. Compared to headphones multitudes more expensive these still hold there own. These scale extremely well with nicer amp/dac and if taken proper care. Will be with you for 20+ years

These headphones are very power hungry. They NEED an dedicated amp otherwise they sound like crap. Properly amped these headphones are awesome.

Der Sennheiser HD 600 Stereo-Kopfhörer bietet ein hervorragendes Klangbild über alle Frequenzbereiche; dies gilt gleichermaßen für Musikstücke aus Klassik, Pop/ Rock als auch für konzertante Marschmusik. Ich habe als Hörer bei geschlossenen Augen den Eindruck, inmitten eines Kozertsaales zu sitzen. Leise Passagen werden ebenso hervorragend und glasklar wiedergegeben wie schnelle und druckvolle Stücke. Höhen und Tiefen sind plastisch und die Musik ist für mich spürbar.

Crips highs, clear voices and instruments, not overpowered lows, thats how I resume the sound performance of the very amazing HD 600. The only drawback for me is the pale esthetic of the cans, otherwise I would have given all 5 stars.

I tried dabbling into headphones including HD 6XX, HD 660S, DT 900 Pro X, and Focal Clear. The verdict? I sold them all and kept the HD 600 as my daily driver. Not gonna lie, the Focal Clears were amazing and comfortable but I just didn’t want to daily drive such expensive headphones that also had light colored cushions that will need to be cared for immaculately. The DT 900 Pro X had the best positional audio for playing FPS games but the clamp pressure was too much for my head during long sessions. The Sennheiser 600 series are comfortable for long sessions even with glasses but this HD 600 matched my sound signature for gaming and listening to music more than the 6XX and 660S. I’m not an audiophile so I can’t say for certain the actual sound differences but I feel it the HD 600 allows me to hear a range of different genres in a neutral way which feels consistent. Your mileage may vary but it definitely works for me.

Unbelievable, they suck, muddy. Am I listening to the same headphones. The sound is nothing more than a $ 50 dollar pair. Save your money keep or buy the 380 pro (crystal clear sound). They are far Superior or buy something from the Ultrasone brand.
