    It seems the manufacturer wants to cut everything penny of the cost. Gone is the nice storage box and gone is the beautiful marble plastic band. It looks like a sub $100 cans or even cheaper. It sounds the same as old version that I bought 15 years ago.

    Best headphones Ive ever owned. They recreate the sound as it was intended. Just make sure you can drive these babies. I use them in my studio, coming out of my mixer.

    Delivery was super quick, product packaged very well. The headphones? Only proper other set of headphones I own and can compare too is the Sennheiser HD 540 Ref II - the HD 600 is every bit as clear and high def, but with added oomph in the lower ranges. Sound Blaster Z as source, am really loving the sound, turned off the crystalizer and bass sound enhancement as well as the equalizer as it is not required with the HD 600. Excellent headphones.

    These sound amazing. I highly recommend getting some sort of headphone amp/dac so you can get the most from these fabulous cans. I heard a pair plugged into an Eddie Current Balancing Act tube amp and could not believe my ears. You can always upgrade your amp, but might not ever want to upgrade these headphones. Although, the much more expensive HD800s do sound amazing.

    I got the Sennheiser HD 600s three months ago and I use them almost every day, mainly listening to classical music. Before I decided to buy I tried to find out if the 600 would be significantly better than my old but in excellent condition Sennheiser 424s. I found little online with the exception of a single comment on Amazon which in the end inspired me to plunk down my money. In this review Ill comment on the HD 600s and compare them to the 424s (just in case theres anyone out there who is in the same place I was).
