> 24 hourIf you have an older computer, avoid ALL SSD EHDs. They are dirt slow on transfer with a 3.0 USB port. That being said, this model is roughly the size of a credit card but 1/2 inch thick. So its very portable. Plus its SS so no whirring disc. You can do a few formatting things to help with speed, but unless you have a 3.1 or 3.2 USB, get ready to wait. A LOT. Transferring a 40gig file takes almost ten minutes.

> 24 hourI was thinking of building my own portable SSD by using NVM.e or a 2.5 SSD and put in enclosure, but I dont think it will look as nice as this. Speed seems fast as I normally just use this to transfer files less than 4GB.

> 24 hourLo adquirí con la intención de utilizarlo en modo encriptado en mi MacBook Pro desafortunadamente no se pudo y samsung no responde para solucionar el problema aunque ahí dice q se puede utilizar en Mac.

> 24 hourI finally got around (retired now) to working on my boxes of home videos on tape. I wanted to edit and preserve my videos in digital format. I used a MacBook Pro to read in and edit the videos but my laptop internal storage constantly ran out of space. My other external hard drives proved too slow, I got impatient, especially looking at the amount of work I had to do. I decided to try this 2tb SSD after reading the glowing reviews and couldn’t be more pleased. I get close to 500mb/s R/W and the Samsung T5 only gets warm. I work lot with the laptop on my lap and this SSD is so light I just let it dangle from the laptop I/O port. Even faster would be better but this does an excellent job at a good price point.

> 24 hourGreat portability and ease of use. Ssd meets the Playstation 5 internal system specs (exceeds in some aspects) so all the ps4 games that take advantage of the ps5 4k 60fps upgrade (only if you installed the supported titles to your internal ps5 ssd) would get those benefits with installing them to this ssd.

> 24 hourMy Macbook Air can see the drive on a slow USB to A connection but doesnt see it at all on the USB3.1 connection. Also, the software doesnt work at all on Big Sur. Samsung blames Apple. Apple blames Samsung. Meanwhile theres no hope that this will be fixed...ever.
