Greater than one weekKinda stinks knowing how much I paid for the 1TB version of this, and how in a year or two the cost of such a thing will probably be half of what I paid for it, but at least this little thing is a pleasure to use in the meantime. It comes with two USB cables, one standard USB to USB-C, and the other is just USB-C to USB-C - so no matter what type of connections you have, youre covered. The cables even come with velcro straps attached. I work in IT and I keep this thing with me everywhere I go, and its always loaded up with a few useful tools. Its incredibly small, doesnt weigh much, but still feels durable in the metal housing. Great product.

> 3 dayThis item is a little miracle and the price keeps coming down. Get two. Its quite dramatically fast and small and well made. I plan to get more soon as they are good enough easily to hold video files to edit from if you have a Thunderbolt 3.1 machine that can handle the throughput.

> 3 dayGreat SSD…when it works. Problem is it fails to mount about 1 out of 7 times when you plug it in. And this happens on 2 of my Macs so it’s not a quirk of any single machine. I called Samsung tech support and while the fellow was very polite, he was singularly unhelpful. Recommended solution? Wait for an upgraded driver. And since this was reported already last summer I’m not holding my breath.
