Samsung name and super speed whats not to like.

I bought this to upgrade my sons old Dell laptop running Ubuntu. It was extremely easy to install and worked perfectly for Linux. Im happy with the purchase, and so is he because he has more space for gaming!!

First SSD I got and the only thing I asked myself was why I didnt get it sooner. Costs a little more than the other SSD options in the market however you can rest assured you are getting a quality product and my PC is light years faster now(I know light years is distance not speed). If you buy one upgrade make it this SSD.

I moved my system drive to the SSD and booted the first time. It came up so fast I was convinced there was something wrong. But when I started using it - Everything was totally functional.

Got the first one about 6 months or so ago and it has performed so well that I bought a second one. There isnt much of a performance difference between the Samsung and the Crucial 500 GB SSD (which I also have two and love) , but Samsung has a better warranty.

Samsung has really stepped up their game with their SSDs. The pc I installed this 860 Evo is used primarily for image editing and doc writing. With the additional ram added, this pc is better than new. It installs easily with the 2.5 to 3.5 plate and the holes line up perfectly.

I have the 860 EVO 1tb and its great plug and play. So much faster than hdd. This is my first ssd and its a good one. Just watch out I think the tbw changes with storage capacity. The reason some are more expensive is because of the longevity measured in tbw. This is middle of the road in terms of longevity and its more than Ill probably ever use.

Great backup SSD. Have a primary M2 SSD and this one is secondary. Work well and it quite fast. Installation was easy and recognized by the MSI Motherboard and windows without any issues.

This SSD good reviews are well deserved, its just fast and reliable which makes a huge difference in older laptops.
