12-11-2024My computer was purchased with a hard drive many years ago. With time it slowed down. After installing this SSD into my laptop, its running quicker than it did when I got it, and that was 7 years ago! 10/10 recommend.

> 3 dayIve used many samsung ssd for different pcs and they are all exceptional, this one included. However I bought this particular ssd to upgrade my Grandads pc. Come to find out after hours of troubleshooting, some hp models have a bios that is incompatible with samsung ssds. This is not Samsungs fault, but an issue on hps side. When the ssd is connected to any sata port, the machine will not post nor will it allow me into the bios. Unfortunately I had to return this and go with a different brand. But I did verify on my other pc that the drive is totally fine and read properly in a normal machine.

> 3 dayI was running on a drive that was chronically full all the time. I would experience 100% processor use all day every day literally. I upgraded to this drive (former drive was 150Gb dont judge me) and the problem went away. It also sped up my internet connection massively. This appears to be a very specific problem to my use case of having a drive that is always full but still it fixed a lot of issues on my machine. Other drive was SSD too so it wasnt a switch of technology just an upgrade to storage capacity. Very good improvement!

> 3 dayEasy to install and helps a bit with load times. Obviously a PS4 Pro would be able to take full advantage of the SSD speeds, but the standard model still benefits.

> 3 dayI replaced by old HDD in my Dell laptop and it runs so much faster now. Really straight forward install, just used Youtube to figure that out.
