Greater than one weekI got this to add to my Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop, which only had 256 MB. Now I can fit a lot more games on my computer. It was easy to put in, but you have to rename the drive for it to show up in the This PC window. No problems at all so far.

> 3 dayThis is a great drive if you do not have an m.2 PCIe slot for a really fast drive. It reads and writes a little slow, though. According to CrystalDiskMark 7.0, the drive reads and writes at about 404MB/s under no load. It would be a better drive if it read and wrote at 500MB/s. Still, its a great drive for the price. I use it as a backup drive for my external Samsung T5 SSD.

> 3 dayI received the SSD today and upon opening the shipping envelope noticed that the manufacturers seal was broken, as well as the contents inside not being laid out in what seemed like the proper order. I ended up plugging it in to see if it would function and it is running with no issues so far, as well as no data saved on it. The Samsung Magician software says everything seems fine, it is in Good condition, but it sure does feel odd having an open box item when paying full price through Amazon. Be aware this is a risk when buying.

Greater than one weekThis solid state drive was easy to install in an older laptop. Its published specifications were accurate, allowing first-time proper selection for my computer. The drive was recognized and properly took a Linux installation. It has performed as expected and given improved battery life for an older system with older battery.

> 3 dayI bought it for my MacBook Pro mid 2012 and after all the installation the performance has boosted up for my 2018 use. The battery life has augmented despite my battery state.

> 3 dayReally perked up my older laptop with a 7500 RPM Samsung HD. Cloned the drive in 45 minutes and was up and running within the hour. Much faster boot time and overall speed on everything has increased. Might get another couple of years out of this computer.

> 3 dayThis made a huge improvement to the performance of my 5 year old desktop, Dell 660. I switched from the stock Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm drive to this SSD and the improvement in booting or launching applications is amazing. I have wanted to make the switch for a while now and I should have done it sooner. I did a clean install of Windows 10 and Microsoft has made that so easy that it only took me a couple of hours start to finish. That is including reinstalling all software, games, and restoring user folders that I backed up to my external backup hard drive.

> 3 dayGreat product works flawlessly. However, my new drive windows 10 reads it as a removable USB removeable drive with the original formatting. Plugged it in and moving files over to it. Had to move them back and then format the drive before installing windows on it.

> 3 dayMy swap out is done on a 10 year old Dell XPS L502X laptop. I first learned how to disassemble it to get at the 750 GB HHD drive on You Tube. I watched more than one video and so when I took my machine apart, it came off w/o a hitch. I read some reviews right here on Amazon as regards swap outs, that I have come to realize could be simplified.
