> 3 dayWorked great in the cabinets that we couldnt use the traditional/much cheaper spring locks for (the cabinets were too close together to get a finger in and push the latch) And they worked great. Installation was easier when I thoroughly read the instructions.

> 3 dayThese are so awesome! They are especially great for grandmas house because she can turn them off when my little one isnt there and her cabinets work like normal. All she has to do it turn them on when he comes over. No fighting with hooks all the time. I like it as well - if Im doing a bunch of cooking and there are no little ones around, I can just shut them off and get in and out of cabinets with ease.

Greater than one weekYou may be tempted to get the cheaper ones that have the simple tab that you push down on to open the cabinets. Know that my 12 month old son was able to figure that out pretty quickly thus rendering the cheaper child locks useless. And if my child could figure it out, yours will too. Invested in these instead and in addition to not being able to open the cabinets, he actually has learned to stop bother trying the cabinets anymore. The other nice feature is, you can disengage these so that you dont have to unlock it every time when you need to open cabinets. Then when the kiddo is around, re-engage the lock.

> 3 dayLove these, although Ive had a few problems with some of them catching properly. They are installed perfectly, but if I pull at the cabinet door hard enough it will open without the key. Not sure why..but this has happened with 2-3 out of 16. Although my baby is only one, hes strong and determined enough to open the dud locks I received. Plan to contact merchant about this issue and hope for replacements.

Greater than one weekThese locks work well. I like that little one cant get her fingers pinched. The flexibility over other brands to install the lock at the top or side of the cabinet door is nice. Installation was a challenge. On our cabinet, the installation template didnt work. I ended up drilling 3 sets of holes on the first door. I figured out that I shouldnt use the template to determine the placement of holes on the door.

> 3 dayDoing the first installation takes a little time as there are specific steps and orders, but once you do it once it is very easy to do on the second, third, etc. They include a little sticker/paper thing that is used to guide where to install and drill holes. It is very useful and makes it pretty fool proof. I have actually bought 16 of these locks!

> 3 dayI bought the 12-pack since we have a lot of drawers and cabinets that are within our babys reach. These are great since they can be installed anywhere and not just at the very top of the cabinet. (Yes, we have to use hardware to install these but I prefer this method over the adhesive type which may not be as secure and it can ruin the finish when removed.) The magnetic key also works well and we simply store it on the fridge when not in use.

> 3 dayA little awkward to install but not bad if you can make out the directions. I needed something to lock the liquor cabinet while we left the house in charge of a sitter. The lock functions perfectly and smoothly. Even with a glass front cabinet, it wasnt hard to conceal. The only thing I count off for is that it is not really that strong. Im certain a good hard tug by an adult would be sufficient to break it. But to keep the cat from getting into the bag of treats or the house sitter from helping themselves to a shot of the expensive scotch, its very adequate. What Id say is that it is moderately secure but not going to keep someone out who is in any way determined.

> 3 dayLoved how easy it was to install and that you can leave it in the unlocked position for when baby isnt quite crawling yet. These installed quickly and I like them a lot better than the other odd plastic catches of other baby proofing items.

> 3 dayBest locks on the market... Magnetic key works through 1.5 of wood, has a bypass to disable if you will need constant access, and keeps the kids out. Please note the instructions work for a typical installation, but depending on your kitchen, such as drawers with a complete box and a seperate door face you may need to create your own mouting plan.
