> 3 dayIm very impressed with these locks. They secure the cabinets much better than the more traditional style safety locks. My daughter cant even get her little fingers in there at all. The cheaper ones leave room for kids to get a grip on the cabinet and occasionally pop them open which defeats the purpose. I also really like the option to switch the locks off so I dont have to keep using the key (magnet) to unlock the doors everytime if Im cooking a lot that day. It can be a little annoying to have to use the key everytime on multiple cabinets. Overall Im very secure my daughter wont get into the cabinet with cleanin supplies. Also note that if you lose the key (magnet) any slightly strong magnet should do the trick.

> 3 dayMy son HATES these. He is currently on a mission to figure out how the keys work. I caught him with one the other day, rubbing it all over the door (on the wrong side, luckily). He gave up in a huff and dropped the key. I guess its just a matter of time, but so far he hasnt been able to pry the doors open or figure out the system, and that has made out live SO much easier...

> 3 dayThese are great cabinet locks! They are very nicely made and packaged. Read through the instructions several times to understand everything completely. In my opinion, very easy to install.. especially after the first one. Make sure to tape off 3/8 on your drill bit so you know when to stop drilling or else you will go through your cabinet door. I purchased 2 of these sets (each come with 4 locks and 1 key) so I ended up with 2 keys which is nice. If you purchase the larger pack which comes with 8 locks then you will only have 1 key per 8. Same price too. Cabinet doors dont have any give so their little fingers cant get between the cabinet door and cabinet. Get them!

14-11-2024Purchased for a home daycare. Boyfriend had to install, took a bit of time to do all kitchen drawers, but work perfectly. Magnet unlocks, kids can’t open the drawers.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these - except for the fact they are so hard to figure out how to install. It took me 40 minutes to install the first one. Though there are thorough instructions in every language, it is impossible to make out the photos. Once installed, I love them!!! They work great, are incredibly sturdy and you cant see anything! Now, if the manufacturer would just come to my house and install them, I would be completely thrilled! :)

> 3 dayIf I had reviewed these right after buying them, Im sure Id have given them 5 stars. But a couple years later... man, what a pain these have been. First off, out of 12 we installed 3 have been replaced and 3 more need to be. THEY JUST DONT LAST! Something breaks in them, seemingly with no reason, rendering them completely useless. The company replaced the first two. The third time they said they would after receiving the defect back and - to their credit - they paid for the shipping... but I never heard from them again. To be honest, if I could go back in time... I just wouldnt bother. So heres some parenting device: Stop being so paranoid! You wont listen to me. I wouldnt have listened to me either. But I found its just far better to teach the kid to not do certain things, and move the really dangerous stuff so they just cant get it. Way better than annoying yourself and all your guests for years with these blasted things.

> 3 dayWe have a very clever feline companion that will open cupboard doors. One unfortunate habit he has is investigating the garbage under the sink. This is the first cabinet lock that he cant figure out while remaining convenient for the pet parents. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayMake sure that you are very comfortable with a power drill and have a gentle hand before endeavoring to install these. It is a tricky to install and the instructions arent super clear. But once you get them in place, they are fabulous. I love that we can leave them unlocked when our baby isnt around and lock them when he is here. And the magnet idea makes it really easy to open once you figure out the invisible spot to place it on at the door.

> 3 dayThese locks were very easy to install and are very effective in keeping my 14 month old son out of my desk. He is a very strong kid, to give an example he pushes a Sams grocery cart, which is twice the size of a regular grocery cart, with a 42 lb bag of dog food in it all the way through Sams and through the parking lot to the car. Without any help. So when I say hes strong Im not exaggerating. Once the lock is engaged I would venture to say that it would take a pry bar to open it without the key. The price was right too. I shopped around and comared to other brand name magnetic locks these were hands down the best deal going. The same type of lock in a different brand name cost three times as much and you have to purchase the key separate.

> 3 dayi had originally purchased the safety first spring n release latch and that was a complete failure. some of them broke off or just got bent so it didnt engage the lock. so when i moved into a new home, i purchased these instead and what a world of difference! these are significantly more expensive, but its worth it. it can be a little tricky to open; you have to hold the key in just the right spot to get the magnet to unlock (you can hear it). however, once you get use to it, you can open it very quickly. and the other thing i really like about it is that you can manually switch it to a unlocked position which is nice if youre having to constantly open a drawer/cabinet; and when youre ready to have it locked again, just switch it back over.
