> 24 hourThese work perfectly but I wasnt impressed with the instructions. It took me a good but to figure it out but once I did the first one the rest were easy. I like that I can take them off and move them with me tinny next rent house.

> 24 hourTough installation but once their up, they work great. Kinda a pain to search for a magnetic key when we have them on so many doors but, baby proofing is always a pain.

> 24 hourThe Kidco S3362 is easier to install, but doesnt work nearly as well, at least not on my cabinets. My only beef with this product is the install template they give is neither intuitive nor effective. If they could steal a page from the Kidco playbook on the installation they would have a home run.

> 24 hourI got tired of coming home to a kitchen with trash scattered all over the floor so was looking for a way to make the cabinets below the sink secure without having to stick a chair in front of the sink to block my dogs access. The cabinets dont have doorknobs, so I couldnt use the cheap twist-tie versions. I like that my sink is metal because I can stick the key to it without worrying about losing it. I also like being able to disable it just by flicking the grey tab on the side. When I am home my dog will not go dumpster diving so on the weekends I keep it unlocked so I dont have to wrestle with the key to throw trash away. This makes it good for people having multiple children- keep it locked when there is a toddler, unlock it when toddler gets older without having to uninstall, then relock it when next toddler comes along. Fortunately my dad came up that weekend because if it was a pain in the *** for him to install them I bet I would have given up. He is very handy but it still took him over an hour to install. The directions were not clear enough, so I found a youtube video which demonstrated how to install them. My dad said it was very helpful.

> 24 hourDidnt have to destroy my cabinets. They were pretty easy to install...the instructions were a little long and a little confusing but only because I wanted to just skim over it and look at pictures. Once we figured it out they went in great. Sticker tabs helped to get perfect placement. I love that you can turn these off when you want to get into them without using the key. If Im cleaning and dont want to keep grabbing the key I dont have to. Work really great...and even with baby tugging on the cabinets it didnt fail.

> 24 hourIf I had reviewed these right after buying them, Im sure Id have given them 5 stars. But a couple years later... man, what a pain these have been. First off, out of 12 we installed 3 have been replaced and 3 more need to be. THEY JUST DONT LAST! Something breaks in them, seemingly with no reason, rendering them completely useless. The company replaced the first two. The third time they said they would after receiving the defect back and - to their credit - they paid for the shipping... but I never heard from them again. To be honest, if I could go back in time... I just wouldnt bother. So heres some parenting device: Stop being so paranoid! You wont listen to me. I wouldnt have listened to me either. But I found its just far better to teach the kid to not do certain things, and move the really dangerous stuff so they just cant get it. Way better than annoying yourself and all your guests for years with these blasted things.

> 24 hourWe have both TotLoks and the Safety 1st child locks. The TotLoks look like a bit of a contraption and the magnets fall apart if dropped. The locks themselves though are very strong, and theyre much smaller than the Safety 1st locks. They will fit in more places. The Safety-1st locks have much nicer magnets and overall are easier to install/use and work better in normal operation--- but if an adult yanks on a locked door with any force without care, assuming it should open, the Safety 1st lock internally shatters and ceases to work. The TotLoks dont. Minus one star for breaking easily, minus one more for being bulky enough that we had to cut notches in some cabinets/drawers so they would fit. These could be the perfect child lock if both were fixed.

> 24 hourThese are great! Keep the cabinets locked like they should. Like other reviews, they are difficult to install with the directions so I just put a piece of double sided tape on the back, lined them up on the cabinets so they would lock, made sure they worked before screwing them down. Worked a whole lot better than the weird templates that came with them. This set only comes with one key which will suck if I lose it. Otherwise I would never buy any other type of child locks for cabinets. Kids are just too smart & figure them out to quickly. Great price for the amount of locks you get but the shipping was kind of slow.

> 24 hourA little awkward to install but not bad if you can make out the directions. I needed something to lock the liquor cabinet while we left the house in charge of a sitter. The lock functions perfectly and smoothly. Even with a glass front cabinet, it wasnt hard to conceal. The only thing I count off for is that it is not really that strong. Im certain a good hard tug by an adult would be sufficient to break it. But to keep the cat from getting into the bag of treats or the house sitter from helping themselves to a shot of the expensive scotch, its very adequate. What Id say is that it is moderately secure but not going to keep someone out who is in any way determined.

> 24 hourThese locks are awesome when you want to baby proof your cabinets without looking like you baby proofd your cabinets. Theyre invisible and weve had many guests who couldnt figure out how to open our cabinets. Everyone was impressed with how these locks worked. We keep the magnetic key on a lanyard conveniently stuck to the fridge for easy access. The only comment I have is that the installation is obviously a little more complicated than other solutions. Take your time and do some visual checks / test fits. After you install a couple though you get the hang of it and you can install additional locks much quicker. One good trick I found is drilling small pilot holes with my cordless drill. I used tape on the small drill bit to mark the depth I wanted (aka, not drill THROUGH the cabinet door).
