> 3 dayThe heater i received was defective, having crushed threads(box was not crushed, so this was a manufacturer defect). Zoomed had a great no-hassle return policy. The replacement was packed with great care, and works perfectly!

> 3 dayI got this for use in my hedgehogs plastic tub along with a thermostat, and so far its been working great. It adequately heats the tub to the ideal 75 degrees.

> 3 dayI put the 100 Watt into a Zoo med fixture with a maximum of 100 watts and as soon as I turned it on it immediately started to smoke, disappointed because I cant even use it without having to worry about risk of it causing fire, I usually trust zoo products but this has h changed my opinion.

> 3 dayThese are much cheaper than in the pet stores. The quality seems similar even though one of these had damaged threads and was unusable. The replacement was fine. I seem to get only about a year out of one, but the same can be said for the pet store versions as well.

> 3 dayI have a catering company and instead of paying a boatload of money for a bread proofer, i built my own. The heat source uses one of these reptile ceramic heaters which gives off a gentle but steady heat which works perfectly for raising bread doughs in the cold winter months of Vermont!

Greater than one weekworks well so far....not quite as warm as I expected. Keeps one end of 40 gal terrarium only about 80 deg...not the 90 to 95 deg I was looking for. Nest time I will go with the 150 watt.

> 3 dayDoes what it claims to do. Provides great radiant heat, though it is very drying to the habitat so if you have something that needs to be kept moist this is not the heating device to use. Great for dessert species. Also, this only heats a small area right underneath of it and does not heat my tortoise cave just by being next to the entrance as I had hoped so I had to get a heating pad for under the cave. I find that placing tinfoil carefully around some of the the sides of the enclosure really hold the heat in and warms the habitat more effectively, but be careful not to make an oven.

> 3 dayProbably works for a terrarium but not for any other pet. does not put off near enough heat.

> 3 dayOur Tokay Gecko loves her new ,no light, light. It has warm heat without the light. She is a native to the rain forest and is nocturnal. SO now she has a damp dark place to sleep durning the day, and she can see in the dark at night. Tokie loves her ceramic lamp bulb, thank you. Sincerely, PS
