> 3 dayWe purchased our PureRelief XL Heating Pad yesterday morning and it arrived on the same day (thank you Amazon). It was a huge blessing to my husband, who has been dealing with back pain this week. I love the long cord and easy to read temperature control. The heating pad itself is so soft and cushy - very comforting! I am tempted to buy a second one just for myself! Thank you for making such a solid product. I know we will make great use of it!

> 3 dayI’m enjoying the PureRelief XL Heating Pad so far. It’s been very helpful for soothing my acute neck and shoulder pain. This is actually the second heating pad I’ve bought this week (the other was the ConairComfort Massaging Heating Pad); this one is far superior in size, texture, and consistency. One piece of criticism I will give, though, is that it does not seem to maintain high temperatures over time (even less than 2 hours).

> 3 dayI STARTED USING PURERELIEF HEATING PADS YEARS AGO AND I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER BRAND AGAIN. I am a chronic pain sufferer. I have dealt with intense pain for many years and have bought, probably, more than a dozen heating pads over the years (dozens if you count the ones my parents bought me until I started working). I see a pain management specialist, monthly, who has been able to offer relief in the form of medication and epidural pain procedures. Thats all great and effective. But none of it is 100% relief. I still have to be very careful with my activities to prevent further pain, and I often am not. The physical limitations of chronic pain sufferers can be frustrating and you just want to be able to do the things you used to do. But that often results in a good deal of pain that surpasses the ability of medication, alone. There is always some pain that only a good heating pad can relieve. After years of purchasing cheap, plastic heating pads that crack and fall apart (you know the ones with the cheap fabric sleeve that snaps shut to keep the plastic in place), I decided to try the Pure Enrichment brand products. I was very impressed with the softness, the flexibility (as the wiring is integrated into the cushiony pad) and the many levels of heat that PureRelief heating pads provide. So I made my first purchase. IT. WAS. LOVELY. Cozy and soft; like being wrapped up in a warm hug that pulls all of the pain out. Unfortunately, a family member noticed how blissful I was in my heated cocoon, and they borrowed it and never returned it. In 2017, as my chronic pain issues had increased, I again found PureRelief heating pads on Amazon so I ordered two (Neck and Shoulder and XL - King Sized). And I was just as pleased (perhaps a bit more) as I was with my prior purchase (their R&D must be in a constant state of development and refinement because they only get better). I used my heating pads on an almost daily basis for about two years. I used them for soothing my pain at home, I took them to work with me for back and menstrual pain relief, I even used them to warm me up when I was chilled. Then, in 2019, they both stopped working. I tried resetting them, resting them, cleaning them...all to no avail. I assumed that I had overworked them (because, lets be honest, I had. I used them every single day) and put them to the side, but I still couldn’t throw them away. This Summer (2021), in desperation, I called their customer service hotline, just to see if I could get some tech support to get my heating pads going again. The customer service agent who answered the phone asked my name and the order number, which I provided. Within 1 minute, without any need for further conversation, she said that she had just placed the order and was shipping replacements to me immediately. I was shocked. It was just too easy. Thats it? All I wanted was help to fix the pads that I had. I have NEVER, before or since, had such an easy, pleasant experience with ANY customer service agent. Its usually far more complicated. I felt really good after our interaction and was just thinking about how awesome that was and realized that I had forgotten that Pure Enrichment has 5 year warranties on the heating pads I purchased (which is part of what attracted me in the first place)!!! How smart was I?! Haha. Within 2 days I had two brand new heating pads delivered to my door and I continue to use them on an almost daily basis. REVIEW: I LOVE PureRelief heating pads. They’re amazing and I will probably never buy another brand again. PROS: *The Customer Service is top class. They are smart, professional, patient and kind. *Pads heat quickly so pain relief can be soothed much more quickly than with other heating pads. *The Neck and Shoulder pad has only 4 heat settings, but I suspect that is for safety reasons. I consider this a pro because the pad is designed to provide relief; not to pander to potentially dangerous requests. *The moist heat and the heavier weight of the pads allow the heat to really penetrate into the muscles nicely. *The King XL has 6 heat settings AND provides you the option to either use Auto shutoff (where it turns off after 2 hours) OR to turn off the Auto shutoff and receive constant relief until you choose to turn the heating pad off. The soft, coziness of the micro mink is very soothing and the flexibility of the pad itself is luxurious. CONS: *The levels of heat are sometimes not consistent throughout the whole pad; mostly around the very edges. *The Neck and Shoulder pad, while amazing on shoulders and upper back, doesn’t seem to have any heating elements in the part that actually rests on your neck. *The magnetic closure on the Neck and Shoulder pad is too tight. The concept is great but it needs to allow for larger sized necks. *While the weight of the Neck and Shoulder heating pad is good, it would be nice to have straps that wrap around to the front or that can be wrapped around the upper arms in order to keep the pad securely in place. P.S. I’ve included pics of the XXL that I recently bought, which ALSO works like a dream.

> 3 dayMy XL heating pad (I have 2 of them) checks all the right boxes. Its a great size for flexible use and is very soft and comfortable. I can adjust the heat level from 1-6 according to my needs. The controller allows me to set the heat to stay on or cut off after a limited period of time. An indicator light shows the pad is on and the easy to read screen shows the heat level. I did have an issue recently with one of my pads failing and I got an F flashing on the screen. These pads have a 5 year warranty and all it took was a phone call and reply to the email they sent me to have them send me a replacement pad. Great customer service!

> 3 dayI recently received the Pure Enrichment heating pad and cannot be more pleased. It’s the perfect size and folds nicely so I can travel with it. My favorite part is how the pad is not only soft and clean now but will continue to be because of the washability. This is a product that every home needs.

> 3 dayFive stars! It heats up very fast and maintains a high heat. I love the size of the heating pad and the length of the cord. I can sit on my couch or bed without having to mess with trying to plug it in where it can reach. One of my favorite things about it is the auto-shut off feature. It turns off automatically after two hours of continuous use. But it can be turned off if you like it on longer! Great product, very comfortable and not too heavy! 10/10!

> 3 day...and I absolutely LOVE it. With a considerable (oh MAN, do I use THAT term lightly!) level of pain after having had a Lumbar Fusion and Laminectomy (L-5/S-1) just over two years ago, it was time for a new heating pad. Id been using a Thermophore 055 (and while there are many, MANY good things to say about that heating pad) this new one was such a great AHHHHHHHHH to come home to! It took me but seconds to whip this bad boy out of the box, throw on the bed and hop right on top. It felt EXACTLY as I had imagined it would and even THEN some! We had just gotten home after a looooong day of leisure, but those of us with spine issues know that even those fun days...especially when they are fully-packed, non-stop...seem to turn to agony pretty quickly. (Thank the LORD for Amazon and their Prime deliveries on Sundays!!! And this time a delivery that was scheduled for Monday actually arrived a day early! How in the WORLD did they know?!) I cranked it up to its highest setting of 6 to get started right away and the warmth started easing up my muscles within minutes. Now that Ive used it several days I found that I love the plush fabric of the cover. Unlike my old Thermophore, its extremely comfortable. And of course, not feeling any wires underneath your body is also a good thing, lol! The controls are large enough to see and very easy to use with a red light on/off indicator. Unlike many other folks who compare the size of the PureRelief to their old pads, this is just a bit smaller than the pad Im used to using. As many others have mentioned, the one downside might be the temp. Thus far for me its definitely been hot enough but to be honest, Ive always warmed it up at 6 (the highest heat setting) and I dont remember ever once feeling the need to lower it. So Im going to question if whether the PureRelief not getting hotter could potentially be a problem in the future. So far my PureRelief is more than perfect, so Im happy to give it a 5-Star rating, but heres the thing. Weve had some pretty fair weather around these parts and I havent put on any warmer clothes yet. Thats leads me to wonder if when I put on layers of thermal, fleece and/or heavier clothing if the heating element will actually BE enough to get through and for me to still experience the pads therapeutic benefits. That remains to be seen, but Im very excited and I have the HIGHEST expectations that the layers of clothing will pose no problem! Before I close I wanted to mention that unlike many of you reviewers, I DO plan to hang onto my old heating pad, my ancient workhorse the Thermophore #055. Its a different kind of heating pad which does have its merits and has served me well. I inherited it from my father-in-law way who passed away in 1998 and Ive been using it exclusively ever since. This one DOES get killer hot (for all of you out there who want a hot, hot, HOT pad!) however for safety purposes you actually need to squeeze the trigger and manually hold it down in order to generate the heat. As long as you hold the lever, the heat just keeps on coming and itll get up to 176 degrees (so Im told). The downside with this one is its pretty much either feast or famine with no constant. Theres no control on it so theres never a consistent temperature at all. Its usually either too hot (while youre holding the lever til you can absolutely stand it no more!), or, its cooling down when you let the button go. Still, theres much to be said. It gets blastin hot and itll attack those muscles for you, drawing moisture right out of the air. (You can get them here on Amazon and I see where they seem to have different models as well. They are made by Battle Creek.) They are a perfect adjunct to...but NOT replacement for...the PureRelief! :) 2/20/18 UPDATE: My PureRelief is still going strong, helping me with back pain relief whenever I need it. Just wanted to add that this wonderful heating pad gets PLENTY hot and then some. Ive been cranking it all the way to 6 and then finding I need to lower it to be comfortable, so getting and keeping it warm enough in the winter is most definitely not a problem! So happy with it! :-)

> 3 dayI recently purchased the Pure Enrichment® PureRelief™ XL Heating Pad. I used to have another heating pad and was looking for another one to replace it. I use a heating pad for my Chrons and cramps. After testing both heating pads, I found the PureRelief Heating Pad heated up quicker and was a lot warmer than my previous one. I also like that the cover does not shift or come off and the cord is detachable.
