> 3 day...and I absolutely LOVE it. With a considerable (oh MAN, do I use THAT term lightly!) level of pain after having had a Lumbar Fusion and Laminectomy (L-5/S-1) just over two years ago, it was time for a new heating pad. Id been using a Thermophore 055 (and while there are many, MANY good things to say about that heating pad) this new one was such a great AHHHHHHHHH to come home to! It took me but seconds to whip this bad boy out of the box, throw on the bed and hop right on top. It felt EXACTLY as I had imagined it would and even THEN some! We had just gotten home after a looooong day of leisure, but those of us with spine issues know that even those fun days...especially when they are fully-packed, non-stop...seem to turn to agony pretty quickly. (Thank the LORD for Amazon and their Prime deliveries on Sundays!!! And this time a delivery that was scheduled for Monday actually arrived a day early! How in the WORLD did they know?!) I cranked it up to its highest setting of 6 to get started right away and the warmth started easing up my muscles within minutes. Now that Ive used it several days I found that I love the plush fabric of the cover. Unlike my old Thermophore, its extremely comfortable. And of course, not feeling any wires underneath your body is also a good thing, lol! The controls are large enough to see and very easy to use with a red light on/off indicator. Unlike many other folks who compare the size of the PureRelief to their old pads, this is just a bit smaller than the pad Im used to using. As many others have mentioned, the one downside might be the temp. Thus far for me its definitely been hot enough but to be honest, Ive always warmed it up at 6 (the highest heat setting) and I dont remember ever once feeling the need to lower it. So Im going to question if whether the PureRelief not getting hotter could potentially be a problem in the future. So far my PureRelief is more than perfect, so Im happy to give it a 5-Star rating, but heres the thing. Weve had some pretty fair weather around these parts and I havent put on any warmer clothes yet. Thats leads me to wonder if when I put on layers of thermal, fleece and/or heavier clothing if the heating element will actually BE enough to get through and for me to still experience the pads therapeutic benefits. That remains to be seen, but Im very excited and I have the HIGHEST expectations that the layers of clothing will pose no problem! Before I close I wanted to mention that unlike many of you reviewers, I DO plan to hang onto my old heating pad, my ancient workhorse the Thermophore #055. Its a different kind of heating pad which does have its merits and has served me well. I inherited it from my father-in-law way who passed away in 1998 and Ive been using it exclusively ever since. This one DOES get killer hot (for all of you out there who want a hot, hot, HOT pad!) however for safety purposes you actually need to squeeze the trigger and manually hold it down in order to generate the heat. As long as you hold the lever, the heat just keeps on coming and itll get up to 176 degrees (so Im told). The downside with this one is its pretty much either feast or famine with no constant. Theres no control on it so theres never a consistent temperature at all. Its usually either too hot (while youre holding the lever til you can absolutely stand it no more!), or, its cooling down when you let the button go. Still, theres much to be said. It gets blastin hot and itll attack those muscles for you, drawing moisture right out of the air. (You can get them here on Amazon and I see where they seem to have different models as well. They are made by Battle Creek.) They are a perfect adjunct to...but NOT replacement for...the PureRelief! :) 2/20/18 UPDATE: My PureRelief is still going strong, helping me with back pain relief whenever I need it. Just wanted to add that this wonderful heating pad gets PLENTY hot and then some. Ive been cranking it all the way to 6 and then finding I need to lower it to be comfortable, so getting and keeping it warm enough in the winter is most definitely not a problem! So happy with it! :-)

> 3 dayOrdered the Plush Heating Pad XL. Nice packaging. Nice looking item. Like the instructions on the pad itself (vs finding it in some paperwork when/if needed at some later date) Like the pad itself is washable. One less item/cover to keep up with. Tried heating element. Was hoping it would get a little hotter (replacement of different product that was old/thought it got hotter but cannot compare). Have not needed to use yet. Purchased for future need. Value in line with other items.

> 3 dayI purchased this product for back pain and it worked very well. I love the length of the cord, which made it easier to use in multiple chairs in my home. After a year it developed an issue and stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer who offered to replace the heating pad at no cost. Excellent customer service.

01-11-2024We purchased our PureRelief XL Heating Pad yesterday morning and it arrived on the same day (thank you Amazon). It was a huge blessing to my husband, who has been dealing with back pain this week. I love the long cord and easy to read temperature control. The heating pad itself is so soft and cushy - very comforting! I am tempted to buy a second one just for myself! Thank you for making such a solid product. I know we will make great use of it!

> 3 dayI just received my Pure Enrichment heating pad. I found that it heated up really fast and the cover was very comfortable. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the placement of the large connector at the end of the pad. If I put it on top, it banged me in the head. If I put it at the bottom, I was sitting on it. It would have worked better for me if it came out the side of one of the ends. Thats the only suggestion I can make, because it works beautifully and is easy to use. This is still the best heating pad I have ever used. Thanks for your almost perfect product.

> 3 dayWhen I had an issue with an older heating pad I dug back in my purchase info and found a Customer Service e-mail and I wrote to them about my problem, assuming the message was going in burn basket in the Far East. But no, they replied multiple times within 48 hours. When we came to dead end, they went above and beyond and replaced my product. Thats the way to build a brand. Cheers, Al

> 3 dayI love my new heating pad! It is bigger than my prior heating pad, but not too big for me. I bought my husband one like this, except his is bigger than mine and fits him well. It heats up quickly too. I would definitely recommend purchasing!

> 3 dayGreat for neck and back surgeries. Keeps hot and warm. Auto shut off after 2 hours or can stay on. Last a long time. Mine was used daily and lasted over a year. Update: my pad unexpectedly went bad. I contacted the company, within 1 day they are sending me a free replacement and I dont even have to ship back the defective product. Awesome customer service.

> 3 dayI ordered the Pure Enrichment Heating Pad for my father for Father’s Day and he started using it immediately. We’re already so happy with the purchase and he said it was one of the best gifts he’s been given. We all can’t wait to use it. Definitely a great gift idea and provides instant relief.

> 3 dayI have been using the PureRelief XL Heating Pad for about a month now and my experience has been really good so far. The heating pad is lightweight and warms up quickly. I tested all of the settings and they seem just right--even the highest level. However, sometimes it does feel as if the temperature becomes weaker about 20 minutes into use on the higher settings, but that could just be me. When I first began using it, I did have a strong new/fresh product smell, especially when heated, but it did go away after a while. I appreciate the fact that this heating pad has the option to disable the auto-off function. It gives me the opportunity to keep it turned on when Im using it just to stay warm on a cold day, or have it automatically shut off when I need it while falling asleep. I also really like the storage bag that came with it, which allows me to keep everything neat and put together when Im not using it. The cord is nice and long, which lets me use it just about wherever I want. Overall, I am satisfied with this product
