> 3 dayThe only thing I didn’t like about it was no Bluetooth for sound hookup nor was there really any good ‘out’ port for a high quality sound system.

> 3 dayLoved the projector when I first got it, very bright and clear. After only 5 months the projector stopped working. It will turn on and work for about 5 minutes and then shut off completely. Reached out to customer service and they told me to follow the warranty process where you send the product back to them and have to cover the shipping costs with no ETA on when theyll send it back. VERY disappointed.

11-11-2024This projector is a MAJOR upgrade from the Optoma GT1080 I had before. Its brighter, clearer, and even quieter. Also, when switching scenes between light to dark, and vise versa are spectacular. Its not grainy, its not too dark, it doesnt lose color. When my last projector died, I went and got a 65 UHD curved Samsung TV. The price was $800, the same as this. The TV was beautiful, but Ill take this projector any day of the week. I promptly returned the TV upon arrival of the projector. If youre even thinking you might want it, just go for it. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

> 3 dayVery easy to hook up. I have not played with settings. Took it out of box and used IPad and external speaker for setup. I would suggest if you are going to to use your iPhone or iPad, purchase a HDMI to lightening cable.

> 3 day4000 ANSI lumens (from product manual) and it’s really bright. It is just as bright as my Samsung series 8 TV in the living room, in the middle of the day, with indirect sunlight from a large window nearby. I use it mainly for my kids remote learning so can’t comment on movie video or sound quality. Has only vertical keystone but has both vertical and horizontal image shift (although if you shift too much it will cut off part of the image).

15-11-2024nice bright image for a living room projector with limited ambient light control. A little louder than my Epson HC3500. No lens shift. Single chip DLP. Some people see the rainbow effect when they turn their head while watching the screen, but not too many.

Greater than one weekHave used this projector for less than 100 hours total and already the connections are all shot. The projector no longer detects any device that is plugged into it--just endlessly says searching for source to no avail. Projector was great for the few months it worked but definitely not worth the money for only 90 hrs of total usage...HUGGGE disappointment. DO NOT BUY.

> 3 dayIts fantastic and quiet. Probably the most worthwhile upgrade I have done to my media room.

> 3 dayGood picture quality and allows the 4k and hdr streams to be accessed on prime, Netflix and Disney app on amazon fire 4k. Allows Dolby atmos audio streams to be an option. Tried several 4k projectors and just were not bright enough even in a dark room and had flickering issues due to a long hdmi cable run in my theater setup. Is a bit finicky when changing settings on initial setup but once it’s set I never change projector settings again. All voice activated with a harmony hub and Alexa. Very bright With ambient light present. Replaced a optima hd20 I’ve had for years and it is defiantly an improvement. Until more 4k content is available and atmos movies just not worth the extra for a 4k projector in my opinion.

Greater than one weekWorked great for about 500 lamp hours/ 6 months, until the lamp broke. Its out of the return period, bulb warranty, and Optoma finds any reason not to honor their 1 year warranty. Its supposed to last about 3000 lamp hours, incase youre wondering.
