> 24 hourSimple plug-n-play connection, comes with studs for wall mounting. Very nice led indicators that show you when you are connected with 10/100 or 1000 mbs. These indicators let me know that I had some older CATV cables in the system. When I changed the cables to CATVe on devices that allowed 1000 mbs, the leds changed. In our small architectural office we view large image files off the server -- this switch speeds up our work significantly.

> 24 hourThe Netgear switch is a simple flawless device that connects additional devices to your network. I own other Netgear switches and they work without any problems.

> 24 hourGood switch, worked great right out of the box. Feature ratings misleading-this is not WIFI-Its a hard wired switch. I also didnt need tech support, its basically being used as a dumb switch. Plug it in, connect the Cat 5 cables and away you go. Big improvement in speeds over WIFI. Prior I had speed tests of about 29Mbps with WIFI and got close to the 200Mbps Im paying for with the switch. Which is expected with WIFI, but thats why I bought it for the desktop connections.

> 24 hourThe switch has metal case and its jot noisy at all. Plenty of inputs. I paired it with a Nighthawk router. Would recomend.

> 24 hourI purchased one of these a couple of years ago and put it on my network. Throughout the couple of years I had major latency issues at various points and called my ISP and complained to them multiple times. I finally got fed up and started replacing every component in the network. First the WIFI router and cables, and then finally the netgear switch. But I made a mistake and bought the same switch thinking that a couple of years later, it must be a new model, and seeing that it is highly rated I didnt think to check.
