Had it for over a month, and its working great, just like the 100 base t version wish Ive had for years.

Plug and play, easy to access and manage, lots of controls.

I went out of port with my NETGEAR N300 WNR2000 which had only 4 ports. So I buy NETGEAR 8 port. NETGEAR makes excellent products. It is easy to setup. Just powered up the switch and plugged the Ethernet cable from modem to any of the port on the NETGEAR 8 port device. Then you can connect all other devices to any port on the back.

In my usage model, I have this switch on one end of the house, wired to a switch next to the router in the front of the house which has the gateway. It seems to work just fine as long as you leave the ports static and dont disconnect a laptop and move it to a different port on the same switch. Basically I have one dock with my PC connected and I want to move to another desk with just the Ethernet cable and plug in there, it causes the switch to do something to upstream traffic - seemingly confusing my network up to my router. This causes the internet gateway to effectively drop for all users in the house. I have to turn this switch off and then on again, which resolves the problem.

unmanaged switch, what do you want me to say? It does the thing.

Worked as expected

Zero complaints. Took almost 30 seconds to get it out of the packaging and then plug it in and start using it. Excellent value and build quality. No registration, account, subscription, no nothing. Just plug it in and go.

The switch is very simple to install, plug and play.
