Nothing fancy, but if you dont need a managed switch this is the one to buy, IMO. Solid performance with no freezes, etc. 100% availability. My only complaint is that the power port should be on any side other than the back for my purposes, but then if they put it somewhere else others would complain it wasnt on the back, so whatever.

I unplugged it once and plugged it again and no longer turns on.

Great price for an 8 port gigabit switch with VLAN capabilities. Supports full VLAN tagging too. The VLAN setup is not the easiest and its not the worse Ive used either. At least theres a GUI and doesnt force you to use scripting, etc.

What can I saw. It works. I just needed to replace an old 10/100 switch and didnt need any fancy functions. Just a basic unmanaged switch to give me some additional ports.

I needed a replacement Ethernet Switch for my small business that was a Netgear and 11 Years Old and 100 MB. I decide to just upgrade with the same Manufacturer and a 1 Gig speed. There was a rebate at the time so this purchase was a no brainer for me.

I love this switch. It simply just works. The only thing that I am not fond of is that the power cord does not come out of the same side as the ports.
