> 24 hourWe haven’t gotten it installed yet but we had one just like it before we moved. My Husband is a Amputee & we had it installed next to the toilet. It really helped him, to pull himself up. We could use three more that were 18” long, if you had them. Thank you.

> 24 hourI was scheduled for total knee replacement surgery and needed something to provide stability in the tub/shower. Stepping into and out of the shower is just full of danger for a person who has lost (temporarily) their stability. I purchased these grab bars and install them prior to my surgery. BEST purchase Ive made in recent time. I would recommend these for ANYONE who has stability issues, for any reason. If youre not a handy man type person, you will need to have someone install them; however, installation is straightforward. Took me about 25 minutes to install both.

> 24 hourDO NOT USE THE CHEAP SCREWS that Moen provides. Someone else said this in their review and we agree. We bought Stainless Steel screws to match the Stainless Steel grab bar otherwise corrosion can happen. Also, the screws that came with the bar are too short and cheap to use. Otherwise the grab bar looks nice and the instructions that came with it were well written.

> 24 hourI noticed that the floor of our shower was becoming quite slippery. once installed correctly these provide a great deal of safety in case of slipping while showering. These are not held by suction. It is necessary to discover exactly where the wall studs are located before drilling pilot holes through the shower wall. I had ordered 24 grab bars. I installed one of them diagonally so that each end could be screwed into studs which are 16 apart. I installed the second bar straight up and down screwing both ends into the same stud. Excellent product when installed correctly.

> 24 hourAs you get older, you need a bit more stability getting in and out of the tub. But, as a safety feature, no matter what your age, you could use a handle stepping in and out of the tub to prevent slipping. These bars are perfect for the job. The bars come with screws to install on the wall. Normally, you just locate a stud where you wish to mount the bar and screw it to the wall. Now, I live in a mobile home, and as you may know, the walls arent that thick to start with. I installed my bars by making an aluminum backer plate (3 x 4), drilled through the wall, and mounted the bar to the tub side with the plate on the opposite side. They are firm and support us getting in and out of the tub. I put one at each end of the tub because we liked the one so much, but sometimes you just use the other end, too. I may end up putting another one on the back wall for extra support when using the shower in the tub. These bars are made well, look nice, sturdy, and easy to install. Oh, did I say inexpensive? We are very happy with a pair of these grab bars giving us extra support in the tub.
