Moen is always a good brand. Havent installed yet but I confind it will work as expected

Nice sturdy bar with a very attractive stainless steel finish. Ive only just got it so cant attest to its rust-proof properties.- At least if the welded part rusts it wont be visible... Installtion is no problem but mine is on a masonry and ceramic wall not the common US wood stud and board, so I sourced my own screws and anchors. Enough screw positions allowed me to use two of the existing holes from a previous towel rail. My tiny quibble is that the cover plates dont click firmly into place enough to stop them rattling when touched or moved. If I had installed this for an elderly relative they could easily lose confidence in it thinking that it was loose on the wall and that I had not done a proper job. I fixed that with a couple of bits of double - sided tape on the inside of the lip of the cover before clipping back the cover. Job done.

I bought this for my dad after he stayed at a senior living for Physical and Occupational Therapy. I noticed each restrooms had 2 bars positioned by each toilet and I wanted to do the same. I got the 36 inch bar to accommodate the 16 inch space in between each wall stud and it fit perfectly... Only thing, I could only use 2 screws on each side, due to the 2 inch stud. If the stud was 4 inches, I would of been able to use all 8 screws. I tried pulling on it, and it feels pretty sturdy, so Ill just leave it as is. And with the cover plate on, you cant tell that I only used 2 screws on each side. Would definitely buy more if I need and its much cheaper buying it here on Amazon, compared to our local big box stores.

Use mounted and not suction bars. Critical for every tub or shower.

I have installed four of these in two bathrooms. They definitely add a measure of security, especially for older people. Installation for me was quite simple because I have the experience and tools for this type of project. Less equipped and experienced individuals, not the hands-on type, might need some help, expecially if installing over tile, but most any craftsman friend should be able to handle this for those who have such. I like the 1-1/2 bar size. The bar is not knurled. It is smooth finished, but for me, quite adequate. I did not use the furnished screws because there is no need for rounded-head screws that will be covered, and the tiny phillips sockets on those furnished wouldnt handle much pressure without stripping. However, hex-head screws or screws requiring square or star drivers will all work in the heads are large enough. Those furnished are 2 long. I used some 2 and some 2-1/2, depending upon the thikness of the tile or the other type wall material. I suggest having a stud finder, a drill with assorted bits, for me, a hammer drill and concrete bits, a level and a pencil to mark where the hidden studs are located. Unfortunately, most US contruction has studs on 16 centers and these 24 bars will need to be mounted vertically on one stud or sloped between two - unless installing on a dry wall and fastening onto a board that will bridge three studs. Figure for yourself, but paying $116 for Amazon installer is to me, goofy!

Nice finish and solidly built. Was able to install and get the screws into the wall studs. Had bought the install anchors but returned them as we live in a double wide and there was less than 4” interior wall gap/space so they wouldn’t work.

My wife has limited mobility and needs assistance in getting in and out of her wheelchair. This grab bar was easily installed in the bathroom, replacing the towel bar that was there initially. It is VERY secure and it gives her a great deal of confidence in transferring from her chair. I would definitely recommend this product

Mounted this on the wall to use while stepping in & out of the tub. It was easy to install & is equal the quality & stability of the ones Ive previously purchased at Lowes or Home Depot for 4 times the price. I highly recommend.

As we get older, it helps to have something to hold on to coming out of the shower.
