> 3 dayWe measured wrong, and it was too big. We were very busy with the new bathtub surround that we didnt return it in time. Upset about the short return period because it wasnt cheap. Still in bag/box.

> 3 dayThe bar itself is great. We were able to install it ourselves as we located the studs and it feels very sturdy. We did buy stainless steel #2 screws as someone else suggested and we were glad we did because the electric drill we were using to insert the screws stopped working and we had to use a manual screwdriver. One of the screws had to be taken out and if we had not had the stronger screws Im sure the head would have come off. BTW we did not have to use a SecureMount either. The lack of a rating of 5 stars is due to the fact that Amazon indicated in the return process that I could take the item to the UPS store with the return paperwork and they would box it up and return it FOR FREE! They charged me ~$3.00 for the box! I had the box at home. I would have boxed it up and brought it to them if Amazon had indicated that this is what I should do. The money is negligible but for me it is the principle of the thing. If Amazon tells me that I can take it there and not have to pay a fee then I should not have to argue with a UPS clerk regarding a measly $3.00!

> 3 day$20, stainless steel everything gets 5 stars w/Prime shipping for this item and its little 24 brother as well Only IF they charged more would I consider 4 stars based upon whats missing in this package if upgraded to luxury due to price increase: 1. Instructions should advise that if screwing through cultured marble or equal, even these excellent SS screw heads will shear off (duh) unless you employ an impact screw driver (then the marble will chip away slightly in unexposed areas instead of screw mishaps) 2. 6 screws supplied, assuming 3 at each end = weight capacity if planted into a stud ... so excellent marketing practice would supply at least ONE more screw in case of loss or mishap ... luckily I had a similar SS screw in my shed when I learned the hard way (head snapped off) 3. a small tube of silicone to seal everything off w/instructions would be ideal What you will need are expensive stud finder if trying to read through more than 1/2 gyp.bd grease pencil marker level (plum bob optional) tape measure silicone sealer drill - bits - screwdriver impact drill - screwdriver (if cultured marble/equal) vacuum Bon-Ami cleaner Bourbon

> 3 dayMounted this on the wall to use while stepping in & out of the tub. It was easy to install & is equal the quality & stability of the ones Ive previously purchased at Lowes or Home Depot for 4 times the price. I highly recommend.

> 3 dayIve installed five of these bars in two different sizes in two bathroom retrofits. They are strong and secure but one needs to be aware of what they are being mounted to -- there MUST be something strong to screw them into whether that be wall studs or, as I prefer, blocking which has been securely installed between studs during a remodel. This latter method means that you can pretty much mount a bar anywhere. My blocking in the last remodel was 16 wide 3/4 plywood run around most of the bathroom between the 24OC wall studs at waist height with even wider ply in critical locations in the shower. This gives great leeway in the placement with no worry about hitting the sweet spot.
