> 3 dayThe build and sound quality are excellent from the price point. It is very comfortable for long sessions. I only wish the 4.4mm cable was included.

> 3 dayI really cant add much to whats already been said, but these are so well built and so beautiful for the price. The sound is just south of neutral with excellent dynamics and a boatload of details. Think of it as a more exciting but slightly less refined cousin to the senn HD 650. And golly gee I prefer the more energetic meze to the 650, which I always found a bit too polite. So HD 650 is world class is meze 99? well if its not its very, very close and I appreciate ( thanks Jules ) the slightly boosted bass and more extended treble, without losing any detail. In a word this headphone for the price is probably the best thing going right now, unless your looking for a flatter reference type can. But where is the fun in that?? Oh and I wanted to add these came with the bigger, deeper earcups and are super comfy for many long hours.

> 3 dayreally loved these headphones but returned them due to cosmetic issue. In my opinion the headphones I received should have been sold as B stock or Blem as the wooden cup had a natural wooden knot at very edge but was filled in with some type of filler that appeared pinkish after final finish. Though it was a small knot/flaw it caught my eye everytime I picked them up and bothered me as I paid full retail with no discount. They sounded great so I may re buy them again and hope for better quality control.

> 3 dayI purchased these headphones with some reservations about the size. I have been looking for a good set to travel with without compromising on sound quality. I did not end up keeping these headphones due to the size (although they are not any bigger than a lot of over ear sets on the market), but they were one of the hardest returns Ive had to make. The sound is exceptional, it really blew me away, and the build quality is solid. Nothing on these headphones looks or feels cheap. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a full size, over ear set.

Greater than one weekIm no audiophile. I just wanted good headphones to game with and listen to music. I used an equalizer and an apple usbc to 3.5mm adapter as an amp. To me, these sounds amazing. The bass can be headache inducing honestly if you arent careful with the equalizer. Soundstage seems pretty good for gaming. Ive always had issues with headphones being comfy for an hour or two and then you start to feel it. These are the most comfortable pair of headphones Ive ever worm. At first, it doesnt feel like you are wearing anything. Build quality is fantastic, I love how they look and the style. Im not sure I would use these for outdoor/outside use, they seem a tad flimsy and fragile? I havent tested it but that is just my 2 cents.

> 3 dayI am very pleased with these headphones! The build quality is excellent, the sound is excellent, and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods - The audio itself is similar to the Bose CQ35 though the price is closer to V-Modas Crossfade Wirelsss. I would rank these headphones somewhere in between the two. The Bose are more comfortable due to the deep earcups that fully cover your hear, but they do not sound quite sa good as these. The V-Moda sound a little better, but are significantly less comfortable since they are not fully over-the-ear. The only negative to these headphones is that they use two, mono 3.5mm plugs (one for L and R earcup) instead of a single stereo 3.5mm that plus into only one of them. It prevents using things like boom mics and requires that you manage another cable when listening. That aside, they are an absolutely must have for audiophiles in this price segment.

> 3 dayThese headphones are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. They are very durable and portable. The sound quality is one of the greatest things that I have ever heard. Everyone I show loves them. They only have passive noise canceling so if you are looking for total silence this is not your set but the Walnut does a good job filtering out most of the sound!

> 3 dayI am an audiophile. I also own the Senneheiser Massdrop HD 6xx open back and the Senneheiser HD 569 closed back. I use a good separate headphone amp. These cans are at least on par with the Senns, but in a different way. I wouldnt say these are a better headphone than those pairs, but these are at least as equally as good in a different way. Tremendous bass and treble while maintaining an very good to excellent midrange. The Senns maybe have a better midrange, well, they probably do, but they dont showcase the low end and the high end like the 99 Classics. If you are into neutral headphones, try the 99 Classics for a welcomed change when you get tired of analytic neutrality.

> 3 dayWhen considering these I heard some divided opinions. Several folks said they are too bright sounding and a bit lacking on low-end bass. Others praised its open sound stage and praised/criticized them for being very transparent. Ive had them for a few days now and have listened to a fairly wide array of music. At the moment, Im loving how they sound with Monks Brilliant Corners (streaming via Tidal). I can hear Monks percussive attack on the keys and the lovely tone of softer sustains as he plays. I know that the concept of wanting to just hear the music, the pure intent of the artist is a bit of a fools errand. However, I have made an effort to use monitors and create a bit of a reference set up (Fluance Rt185 and Klisph RM600s). These headphones fit right in. After about the first 20 minutes I stopped wondering if they are coloring or warming or cooling the music. I love the clarity that comes w/ the brightness and I hear wonderful base. Earlier today I was listening to Thundercats recent It Is What It Is and it was luscious sounding! I dont know what happens if I turn the volume up to 11 as I want to hear the music not be blown away. So these are wonderful. Perfect? No... my ears seem to feel a bit warmer than w/ the Fostex these are replacing. Also, while Ive never thought of myself as having a small head lol.. it has taken me a little while to get used to the lightness and not quite a snug fit. I also will say I dont think I would use these out and about walking. In some ways they would be great... certainly are the best looking cans Ive seen in a long time. However, while moving around with them on, the wood cups and metal suspension telegraphs the sound of the cord moving or if something bumps the metal frame, it is pretty distracting. On the other hand, if you mostly sit and listen, working at a keyboard, reading, etc... they are perfect.

> 3 dayThe headphones were provided in a high quality carry case and the build quality of the headphones is also of high quality. The headphones had garnered a number of great reviews from various review sources and I can see why. I cant compare them to more expensive headphones, but for the price point, they sound good and I am happy with the purchase.
