> 3 dayThese are my first audiophile headphones. The sound compared to cheap headhones and earbuds is amazing. I have a large head and wear glasses, the headphones are very comfortable which was very important to me. The headphones are a little bass heavy but it is not over powering. I am driving them with Schiit Magni and Modi paired optically to my windows computer.

> 3 dayI own an embarrassing number of headphones priced from $800.00 to $10.00. I own open back, closed back, semi open back, ANC, iems, bluetooth headphones, bluetooth iems. These headphones stand out in the crowd for their performance, build quality and outstanding looks. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn for hours without fatigue. They feature a enjoyable sound signature with a slightly boosted low end. While many headphones today boost their lows these dont sound muddy or boomy like most of the other companies. The bass goes deep but never bumps up against the mids or gets unnatural. Mids are well represented and very smooth and accurate. Highs sing a very nice song without sibulance or fatigue. For closed back cans their sound stage is impressive with good width and depth. Instruments are well placed and easy to pick out. These have become my favorite closed back headphones because they have such an enjoyable sound. I do have a more detailed and technicaly accurate pair of closed back headphones but they reveal every flaw in poorly recorded songs or dont sound good with lower bit rate recordings. The Mezes just shine no matter what the source, bit rate or quality of the recording they just make songs sound better. In addition they scale well with better sources and amps. Very nice with tube amps. Wow, beauty, comfort and just plain enjoyable sound. What more can you expect from a headphone.

Greater than one weekThe headphones are amazing, the only reason I havent given them 5 stars is because my chord came with some very annoying split ends in the threading. It doesnt impact the sound, it just hurts aesthetically.

Greater than one weekThese sound like they are worth 2x their price. These are great all arounders, but best for hip hop, reggae and other bass heavy/forward genres/songs. Oh and get a little amp, really opens them up, but they’re pretty good right out of the box. If you’re spending less than 500 these are awesome, great starter audiophile headphone

Greater than one weekI bought these and the Meze 99 Noir at the same time. I ran both from the same source, using the same cable. The two do not sound alike. The Classics are much, much better sounding. By comparison, the Noirs are muffled through the midrange and lower treble. Both have about the same high-quality, abundant bass. Both are very nice-looking and the most comfortable headphones Ive ever put on my head. The Classics have better imaging and a wider soundstage. The Classics cost $100 more than the Noirs. In my opinion, its worth the extra money, if you have it. The Noirs are still pretty good, but they are as right for their price as the Classics are for their price. Youre not just paying for the shiny buttons with the Classics.

> 3 dayMeze 99 Classics, a bit bright and forward vocals, efficient and good bass extension, similar to my reference Klipsch Forte II sound signature. M1060C has collapsed imaging and not as resolving, PX7 not able to play loud enough in both BT and wired mode but better imaging. Qudelix-5K LDAC used for BT sound comparison on Meze and Monoprice. Didnt test ANC.
