> 3 dayI guess you could blame genetics, but I just never had great knees. At 34, and for no specific reason, my left knee gave out over the course of a week. I could put no weight on it, and my doctor was stumped as to what it could be from. I went to one specialist, but after I received the bill, that was the end of that (love America’s medical system). My only guess is too much squatting for IKEA furniture assembly in a new apartment. I lived with daily pain for about two years, and was very seriously debating knee surgery when I discovered KT tape. For me, and I have to stress this is only my particular experience, but the moment I put it on I knew that there was a major shift in the way my knee felt. Right away I gained almost my original mobility back and the pain was drastically reduced. Over the course of about nine months (tape on for about 5 days, off for about 3) my knee is 90% better! At this point I don’t experience pain as often as a sort of “weird” sensation when I sit for long periods. But the best part is, I’m down to only wearing the tape once a month. If you debating whether or not to try this product, just looking at the cheap price! What’s the worst that could happen, you’re out 20 bucks? There’s no chance of it hurting you, just a chance it won’t do anything.

> 3 dayI bought this and another similar product for my husband to try out, as he has planters fasciitis. This product far exceeded the other. The precut was perfect in size and easy to use. The adhesive was much more long lasting than the other brand as well. The roll lasted my husband a good amount of time, even changing it daily-every other day. He’s requested me to order more, so he’s happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayKT can work wonderfully. Not a replacement for braces or other needs for your knees but it definitely helps. However, my recent order of Pink KT tape was a complete waste. It had zero support and elasticity. Stick with the black. I just ordered more black and am really hoping the color dye was the problem and not that the product overall has gone downhill

> 3 dayThis tape is amazing!!! My co worker recommended it to me and I loved it. I have pain on my right shoulder and I used one of these KT tape strips and poof gone! Now this is obviously temporary it will not cure your pain permanently. If you need something to help you get through your day wether its working or working out, this tape can help. I feel like the tape moves with you as well. Give it a try its worth the money.

> 3 dayI tore my PCL, meniscus, and completely tore my ACL in my knee back in 2012 as a result of a car accident. I have struggled with my knee and have had a ACL reconstruction, PCL repair twice, meniscus repair twice, and a lateral release of my knee cap due to a tendon being too tight and my knee cap not moving in the correct place resulting in severe pain. The lateral release has definitely helped with my pain, but as of late I have been getting excruciating pain when walking that hits right in the middle of my knee and radiates all throughout and brings me down to the ground most of the time. I have struggled with getting my knee cap to cooperate in the healing process even a year later and it still wants to go to the side when flexed (because of the lateral release). The anti inflammatory pills, huge knee braces, icing, and PT exercises haven’t seemed to help. This product has mixed reviews, but I decided to try it based off the fact that the reviews for knees seemed good. I applied it in a way to keep my kneecap from going to the side when flexed. It is not a complete fix for my issue, but I have to say as soon as I put it on and started walking around I could tell such a difference! The pain is much less severe, and it feels a lot less like a constant thought of “is this step about to take me out” and more like “oh I can keep doing things and not think about it”. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with knee pain from injuries that is looking for something to help on more active days! I needed to share this ASAP, so I haven’t had it on for long. I noticed a lot of people complaining of peeling, but it looks as though those strips were applied too stretched out and that is why they are peeling. I completely removed the backing, then I stuck the strip at one point with my knee straight out and gave it a LIGHT stretch to compensate for bending my knee, and stuck the rest of the strip down. So far, there is no sign of peeling. I will update my review when I have worn these for a few days. Overall, I am so very happy with my purchase! Update: I am remodeling my kitchen, so at the end of the day after lots of bending, getting up and down, being in weird positions, I was having some issues with my knee and did have a sharp pain that took me down. My chiropractor told me to apply differently (updated pic: bend knee and apply strips in a V shape around knee, then straighten knee and add a strip snug below knee cap). This pic is 3 days after wearing the tape, no peeling! I will note that I have not submerged it in water at all though. I have not have any of the sharp pains at all! I still stand by it being a great tool to use!

Greater than one weekI have tried several brands of kinesiology tape and this brand has always worked best for me. It allows for the perfect amount of tension and it does not peel off. It comes in a great assortment of colors. I have used it on myself and for my daughter who was born with torticolis. After a few months of PT and using KT Tape, her condition was corrected. I trust this brand.

> 3 dayFirst off - the only reason I’m even taking away one star is because I wish it came in a not precut version. Or does it and I missed it? Idk, but my issue with the precut is it isn’t the right size for anything I use it for, so even though precut seems convenient I always have to cut it anyways and end up wasting a ton of tape. But anyways, the product itself is great - IF you apply it correctly. Everyone here with adhesion issues claim they applied it properly or applied it “exactly how their physical therapist did it” but I’ve been able to put this stuff on and it last 3 days so….. I can’t imagine they’re doing it properly. Is more expensive tape better? Probably, but I’ll tell you how I apply this and for me it works just fine. Clean skin seems obviously but I’ll say it anyways. Use an alcohol wipe if you have oily skin. But aside from the obvious, there’s 2 key tips to making it stick that I’d be willing to bet people aren’t doing. 1. The first like.. 1.5-2” of the tape - just stick that on your skin without pulling it tight. Then hold that area down while pulling the tape tightly over the area you’re treating. And then the last 1.5-2” same thing, don’t pull that part tight, just hold the end of the tightly pulled tape section and just stick the end on without pulling. It needs that bit of leeway at the beginning and end otherwise yes, it’s just gonna roll up into itself and not stick. 2. Once it’s applied you need to rub it to create some friction/heat. It WILL NOT stick long if you don’t do this. Be careful at the ends to not accidentally pull it back while rubbing it, but this part is key to getting it to stick. I have several ailments I use this for but lately I’ve been using it for my plantar fasciitis rather than your traditional plantar fasciitis fixes. Wearing shoes and insoles with arch support seemed to be making it worse for me, so I went in the opposite direction and started wearing more minimalist/neutral shoes with wide toe box, and focusing on stretching and strengthening my feet. It’s helping, but sometimes I still have pain and that’s when I use this tape. It gives me just enough support without being as extreme/unnatural as insoles. I suppose I could use a compression sock for the same effect, but I like using the tape because I can use more or less tape depending on how much support I want.
