> 3 dayThe tape initially seemed to provide some relief and adheres fine when not performing anything athletic, in fact pulling it off was not fun if you have hair on your legs. But I toughed it out because I’m a man. Then I used the tape while playing basketball and within 15 minutes the tape was falling off. So I’ll only be using it when doing light work.

> 3 dayI would have given this item 5 stars however something that I think is important for people to know is this; KT Tape will likely need to be supplemented with something else to (ill use knees for example) keep your knee cap in place. What I mean by that is, KT Tape works wonders and is a very nice product. It works exactly as intended and for me made my knees feel more efficient. They simply felt like they werent working nearly as hard to perform the very same tasks I did on a daily basis. That isnt where I had my problems... KT Tape needs to be applied in a specific manner, for some finding a place where you can sit/lie down, keep your knee at a 90 degree angle, while being in minimal clothing can become difficult but THAT isnt even the biggest issue. To apply full knee support you will utilize 6 strips for 2 knees w/full support, after doing the math youll get about 3 or 4 applications in one box, I find that these strips can last up to a week and a half but begin to peel/rip hair out and cause discomfort maybe by the 2nd or 3rd day depending on how well you applied the strips/work out/shower. So if one was to keep KT Tape on their knee 24/7 they would have to buy a 10 dollar box once a month depending on much of a beating they put their tape through/messed up applying. Not to mention there are times when I want to sleep and NOT have my pants getting caught on it. I bet youre wondering how much discomfort comes from wearing this tape... Well when its on correctly, not peeling, and youre going about your business as normal, its easy to forget youre even wearing it... however sometimes Id like to be able to not have to commit 5 or 6 days to wearing this tape since Im not big on wasting applications, not to mention ripping this stuff off hurts. My solution for this was I was going to utilize both KT Tape and knee braces, the KT Tape for those weeks when I knew I would be doing a lot of walking in regular clothes/biking/going up and down stairs/ect and the knee brace for the days when Im not too active. This is my story and I hope this will teach you a little about how KT Tape works, this was my first foray into KT Tape and I would say its been positive. My recommendation is that you buy a roll and give it a shot, see if you like it and if you do integrate it into your schedule, just remember this is not a perfect replacement for braces or other larger means of correction.

> 3 dayDoes the job. But be careful to make sure skin is completely free of anything that might cause the tape to not stick as well. Also using it is tricky if you plan to put socks or clothing over it.

> 3 dayI inadvertently forgot to mention that the KT tape bruised my leg, and took almost 2 weeks for the bruise to go away. Mea culpa.

Greater than one weekIve been doing OC and thought I should buy some tape for home use. I love that they are pre-cut to fit my wrist and the edges are rounded. It was great initially but by the 3rd or 4th time I used it, the area became itchy. I have had no issue with the tape that is used at the OC office; I may have to try a different brand.

> 3 dayI tore my PCL, meniscus, and completely tore my ACL in my knee back in 2012 as a result of a car accident. I have struggled with my knee and have had a ACL reconstruction, PCL repair twice, meniscus repair twice, and a lateral release of my knee cap due to a tendon being too tight and my knee cap not moving in the correct place resulting in severe pain. The lateral release has definitely helped with my pain, but as of late I have been getting excruciating pain when walking that hits right in the middle of my knee and radiates all throughout and brings me down to the ground most of the time. I have struggled with getting my knee cap to cooperate in the healing process even a year later and it still wants to go to the side when flexed (because of the lateral release). The anti inflammatory pills, huge knee braces, icing, and PT exercises haven’t seemed to help. This product has mixed reviews, but I decided to try it based off the fact that the reviews for knees seemed good. I applied it in a way to keep my kneecap from going to the side when flexed. It is not a complete fix for my issue, but I have to say as soon as I put it on and started walking around I could tell such a difference! The pain is much less severe, and it feels a lot less like a constant thought of “is this step about to take me out” and more like “oh I can keep doing things and not think about it”. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with knee pain from injuries that is looking for something to help on more active days! I needed to share this ASAP, so I haven’t had it on for long. I noticed a lot of people complaining of peeling, but it looks as though those strips were applied too stretched out and that is why they are peeling. I completely removed the backing, then I stuck the strip at one point with my knee straight out and gave it a LIGHT stretch to compensate for bending my knee, and stuck the rest of the strip down. So far, there is no sign of peeling. I will update my review when I have worn these for a few days. Overall, I am so very happy with my purchase! Update: I am remodeling my kitchen, so at the end of the day after lots of bending, getting up and down, being in weird positions, I was having some issues with my knee and did have a sharp pain that took me down. My chiropractor told me to apply differently (updated pic: bend knee and apply strips in a V shape around knee, then straighten knee and add a strip snug below knee cap). This pic is 3 days after wearing the tape, no peeling! I will note that I have not submerged it in water at all though. I have not have any of the sharp pains at all! I still stand by it being a great tool to use!
