I have purchased 2 of these now and it has been a lifesaver on our long trips. My kids are 3 and 6 and my son used to complain of his bavk hurting on long trips but he hasnt since we got this.

This item was easy to put together following the directions (it helps if you know how much your kid weighs before you start). Its convertible to allow for different sizes of kiddos based on where you place the foot tray. My only complaint is that it does take up a lot of room between the end of my three- year-olds car seat and the back of the passenger front seat, therefore I have to lift her into her seat now instead of her climbing into her seat on her own as she used to do. And due to this lack of space other kids cant get in that door and walk past her seat, they have to enter from the other side of the van. I had considered buying a second for my seven-year-old who is in a booster seat, but decided against it for this space reason. Otherwise, everyone really like it, it seems sturdy enough for the time frame we will need it and my daughter is much more comfortable in her car seat for long trips now!

I waited at least six months of using this to leave a review. Product is still great, no signs of it easily breaking like others have mentioned. It was easy to put together. My son lightly steps on it to get into his car seat. It is not scratching up our leather seats. Most importantly, my son no longer complains about leg discomfort on longer drives. We have the odyssey with the sliding second row. I have it just snug enough where I can still slide this seat with the footrest. I plan on getting another one for my younger child.

We bought this to see if it would make longer trips more comfortable for our 7 year old who is in a booster seat. we have a Toyota Tundra. It was fairly easy to install but took several attempts with some trial and error to get it to sit correctly on the floor. The floor support slides around unless under tension from a child sitting in the seat and even then it seemed want to slide forward. Therefore it does not feel secure. The foot rest is very flimsy and the release levers for the footrest are finicky and its hard to engage them or disengage them. It seems a child could not swing the foot rest out of the way on their own if they wanted to. The instructions state that the foot rest is not load bearing so dont put a childs full weight on it. It would definitely break if my 55 lb child put much weight on it. we have only used it driving around town so far but I do not hold much hope for its longevity. Nearly all components are plastic and simply making adjustments while installing it seemed to stress the levers and i felt like they would break before I got it installed. Nothing broke but i have very little confidence it will last. I love the idea and would like to see some of the major structural components be made of something besides thin injection molded plastic. I think if some parts were aluminum it would be solid.

Great product! Definitely does it’s job. My child is very happy to finally have somewhere to rest her legs!! It’s easy to install but it’s a little wobbly even after tightening it, if you have rubber all weather mats. I wish it came in different colors and perhaps had a bigger base so it wouldn’t wobble.

Purchased this for a long trip, definitely helped out. Made the trip more comfortable for my kid. So far it’s held up after a couple months of use, definitely recommend for long road trips.

We bought this foot rest when we upgraded our daughters car seat about a week ago. She had been complaining of her legs and feet tickling when she was in her old car seat. So we upgraded her car seat and I was so amazed at when I found this product. It was easy to install however it is a pain to lower and raise the footrest part in order for my daughter to get in and out of the car. When my daughter is able to use the footrest she absolutely loves it and she throws a fit when I am not able to raise the foot rest. I wish the latches were easier to use when raising and lowering the foot rest. I would still recommend this product if you dont mind having to mess around with the latches in order to raise and lower foot rest. For reference our daughter is 4.5 years old and is 41 inches tall. The vehicle we have is a 2016 Kia Sedona.

.. just so parents would get one. Honestly, my kid gets angry when we even try to adjust it. Shes that satisfied.
