I waited at least six months of using this to leave a review. Product is still great, no signs of it easily breaking like others have mentioned. It was easy to put together. My son lightly steps on it to get into his car seat. It is not scratching up our leather seats. Most importantly, my son no longer complains about leg discomfort on longer drives. We have the odyssey with the sliding second row. I have it just snug enough where I can still slide this seat with the footrest. I plan on getting another one for my younger child.

Our son has spina bifida so he already has poor circulation in his feet. We went on a road trip for 4 hours a day after getting this and it worked perfect. Even though he’s tall for being 6 we had to bring the foot plate almost all the way to the top but it was perfect fit. His shoes sad perfectly on it. Enough that we didnt even worry about his feet dangling for hours which they didnt because of this. Very easy to assemble, i did notice if you have the foot plate all the way down the adjuster bar that it is a little flimsy but for us it had to be all the way up. Which was rock solid, no movement. Doesnt even shake or rattle when i drive without him in the chair.

Bought this for a long 9-hour road trip with my 3year old. Gave my very tall toddler a comfortable ride so his legs didnt dangle for hours. He loved it! Typically, I put him in the center seat of my 2018 Equinox, but the footrest could not be installed due to the center console. I moved him to the passenger side and it worked like a charm. Overall, this is a great buy, just doesnt fit well in a smaller backseat (the newer equinox models are lacking on backseat space)

There is nothing wrong else on the market so hard to compare. It seems okay but it is not very sturdy. A little pressure either way and it can move side to side quite easily. The bottom support would be better if it was designed with two legs.

My daughter was constantly pulling her feet up into her car seat or flipping them over her arm rests and complaining that she wasnt comfortable and her legs always fell asleep, this has stopped all of the problems we had of her constantly kicking the seat and sitting in uncomfortable ways on all of our car rides. She also uses it as a step to get in her carseat and even though its not supposed to be used as a step it is holding up well. Im happy something like this was created for children, I worry about the development of her knees now because kids have to be in car seats for sooo long. This was money well spent. The only thing that kind of stinks is it is extremely hard to separate the buttons when you are trying to adjust the positioning of the footrest, like laying it down flat when theyre getting in and out of the car, its really hard. If that was easier I would do it every time so she wouldnt be able to use it as a step, the other things are very easy to adjust, like the height and how far up the footrest is.. I wish it was easy to lay the footrest down. It hurts my hands so I dont do it and sometimes its impossible to do. Im worried it will eventually break from her using it as a step... hope not.

This item was easy to put together following the directions (it helps if you know how much your kid weighs before you start). Its convertible to allow for different sizes of kiddos based on where you place the foot tray. My only complaint is that it does take up a lot of room between the end of my three- year-olds car seat and the back of the passenger front seat, therefore I have to lift her into her seat now instead of her climbing into her seat on her own as she used to do. And due to this lack of space other kids cant get in that door and walk past her seat, they have to enter from the other side of the van. I had considered buying a second for my seven-year-old who is in a booster seat, but decided against it for this space reason. Otherwise, everyone really like it, it seems sturdy enough for the time frame we will need it and my daughter is much more comfortable in her car seat for long trips now!

Great concept! But does not touch the floor of my Tahoe which makes it very wobbly. I’m going to see if my husband can put a thin board under it to stabilize it. Install is easier then a car seat.

A bit hard to install, kind of awkward. Not the easiest to adjust and it still wiggles which makes me question safety. However, does work for my three year old toddler.

A really functional and useful addition to our car seat. Our boy love it so much, and really enjoy placing his leg on it. Hes no longer pull his legs up, and hes now happily place them on kneeguard. He love it so much, that we end up buying another one for our second car. Definitely a must buy and very easy to install. I only wish that Ive bought this when I bought the car seat so that I dont have setup the seats twice - as it does need to go under the car seat; however, its a tiny price compared to the benefits that kneeguard offers.

These are impossible to get to stay still. The idea is a great one, and when my children are completely still, and they dont move under them, theyre great. But it doesnt seem to matter how much I adjust them, they move after 5 minutes. Its really annoying. If gluing them to my seats were an option, they would be awesome, lol, but its not. Im not going to give up on them though. Should I come up with a solution to keep them from shifting when feet are on them, Ill share it with you! I need these to work, for some reason, my childrens legs hurt after sitting in the car seat for more than 10 minutes, when they have their legs propped up from these, it helps so much! If you have any ideas to help these stay still for me, please let me know!
