I just could never get it to install without tilting down under the seat. The only way for me to get it to not hang/bend under the seat was to make it very tall... but then it was too tall and my car seat wouldnt install correctly. Also, my kid would not listen to not stand on it. All over the package it warns not to stand on it. But how can you expect a 2-year-old not to use it to get into her seat? Sure, I guess I could climb into the van each time getting her in and out and put it up or down... but who wants to hassle with that? Plus I agree with other users that it really hurts your fingers to slide the lever that lets it go up and down. A huge pain for $45. I feel like an idiot for buying this. Who wants something complicated to use that many times a day?

Install was easy. The buttons to release foot platform seldomly work, they are stiff and the mechanism doesnt release. Completely impossible to release one handed.

I bought these for a long road trip over spring break. I have a 6yr old in a booster seat and 4yr old in a 5-point harness. They werent the easiest to install as the clasps were difficult to push down if not aligned perfectly. However, they did exactly what I needed on the car ride and kept my kids very comfortable over the 12 hour drive. I would not use this for day to day travel as the kids have to climb over them and they would likely break if repeatedly climbed on.

My 2 year old hates her car seat so any long road trips are miserably for all involved, and we take quite a few every year…I bought this in hopes it would help her feel more comfortable and less fussy…it worked even better then excepted, we went on a 14 hour road trip and this thing was magic, makes sense that the reason she was so fussy was because she was uncomfortable, why hasn’t anyone else thought of this before!?! I would have had one for all 4 of my kids.

Should come standard with children. Once you figure out the right placement of platform it’s cake. They can also climb in better using it.

Great product! Definitely does it’s job. My child is very happy to finally have somewhere to rest her legs!! It’s easy to install but it’s a little wobbly even after tightening it, if you have rubber all weather mats. I wish it came in different colors and perhaps had a bigger base so it wouldn’t wobble.

I have this placed in the 3rd row seat in an Infiniti QX80. It fits fine I just could not get it to fit snug. It fits pretty good when my daughter is sitting on her chair, other than that it doesn’t fit tight enough. I will say though, makes her ride much better

I have purchased 2 of these now and it has been a lifesaver on our long trips. My kids are 3 and 6 and my son used to complain of his bavk hurting on long trips but he hasnt since we got this.

work great. Love the different angles. Girls say they are comfortable. But they are annoying to reach in at this odd angle and flip them up and down when the kids get in and out.

But my daughter and I were exciting about this product. The main reason...it will keep her feet off of the back of my seat, which is really annoying and gets the seat dirty, especially in the winter. So, assembly was pretty straight forward. Th locking flaps/latches were a little tricky to close (this was a bad sign), but I got it put together without too much hassle. Installing it was fairly simple, though you will have to pull out your car seat to do this. At this point things seemed to pretty decent...well, that was until I tried to adjust the foot rest to make way for the kids to pass through. This is a really important feature as there really isnt much room with the foot rest down. When I tried to adjust the foot rest by pressing the two buttons provided, they would budge...then one would release, but the other would....this was annoying (and it kills your fingers!)...you could get one to release, but the opposite one would get stuck...what the....what?!?!? This has been an ongoing battle and I almost ripped the thing out in an IKEA parking lot to smash it to bits, but gave myself a timeout and came back to it a second try (after my fingers stopped crying out in pain...lol j/k) and was able to get both pins to release the foot rest. With that said, my daughter does like it and it seems to work as intended.... BUT HOLY MOUSE POOP, THE THING DRIVE MY NUTS, when you have three kids in a parking lot and you just want to get them in the car and go! I do have hope that the pins will release easer in time and usage...hopefully!
