> 24 hourI really wanted this to work, however when using with a booster seat, it isn’t long enough to actually rest on the floor in my Expedition. I’ll probably end up returning.

> 24 hourGrandson was always wanting to put his legs out and rest them on the passenger seat in front of him, which in a collision, is very unsafe. His legs dangling from the seat were not comfortable after some time and I was glad to find this on Amazon. It took some time to get around to installing it. It has been installed for two months now and I pick him up from school in the afternoon two weeks a month and he absolutely loves having a foot rest. He was excited to show it off to his parents and grandpa. I have since bought one for his mothers car. The footrest part is adjustable as he grows, which I like. It is somewhat difficult to adjust down from him to get into the seat and then raise up to the right height once he is buckled in. So getting in and out is a little precarious. The footrest is not sturdy enough for him to use it to get into the seat and the pole makes it hard to climb into the seat so he has to be helped into the car seat. So while it has some drawbacks, the overall function and use are great and it makes for a more comfortable ride for him.

> 24 hourMy daughter was constantly pulling her feet up into her car seat or flipping them over her arm rests and complaining that she wasnt comfortable and her legs always fell asleep, this has stopped all of the problems we had of her constantly kicking the seat and sitting in uncomfortable ways on all of our car rides. She also uses it as a step to get in her carseat and even though its not supposed to be used as a step it is holding up well. Im happy something like this was created for children, I worry about the development of her knees now because kids have to be in car seats for sooo long. This was money well spent. The only thing that kind of stinks is it is extremely hard to separate the buttons when you are trying to adjust the positioning of the footrest, like laying it down flat when theyre getting in and out of the car, its really hard. If that was easier I would do it every time so she wouldnt be able to use it as a step, the other things are very easy to adjust, like the height and how far up the footrest is.. I wish it was easy to lay the footrest down. It hurts my hands so I dont do it and sometimes its impossible to do. Im worried it will eventually break from her using it as a step... hope not.

> 24 hourBut my daughter and I were exciting about this product. The main reason...it will keep her feet off of the back of my seat, which is really annoying and gets the seat dirty, especially in the winter. So, assembly was pretty straight forward. Th locking flaps/latches were a little tricky to close (this was a bad sign), but I got it put together without too much hassle. Installing it was fairly simple, though you will have to pull out your car seat to do this. At this point things seemed to pretty decent...well, that was until I tried to adjust the foot rest to make way for the kids to pass through. This is a really important feature as there really isnt much room with the foot rest down. When I tried to adjust the foot rest by pressing the two buttons provided, they would budge...then one would release, but the other would....this was annoying (and it kills your fingers!)...you could get one to release, but the opposite one would get stuck...what the....what?!?!? This has been an ongoing battle and I almost ripped the thing out in an IKEA parking lot to smash it to bits, but gave myself a timeout and came back to it a second try (after my fingers stopped crying out in pain...lol j/k) and was able to get both pins to release the foot rest. With that said, my daughter does like it and it seems to work as intended.... BUT HOLY MOUSE POOP, THE THING DRIVE MY NUTS, when you have three kids in a parking lot and you just want to get them in the car and go! I do have hope that the pins will release easer in time and usage...hopefully!

> 24 hourI love the concept for this product but the item itself is not good. I dont understand the positive reviews I see. I found this item to be very flimsy and weak. The long piece of plastic that holds the entire footrest in place is very fragile and I can see it breaking easily. In fact, the product also makes clear on the item, the box, and in the instructions not to use this item to stand on or as a step. ???!? That makes no sense. No matter how careful, your child will have to stand on this footrest for the most briefest moment in order to sit or get out of the seat. And so are we supposed to lift our kids up in the air and place them in the seat in order to avoid stepping on this thing? Ridiculous. I dont understand why manufacturers keep doing this. Please make a quality, solid product! If the product is solid and excellent, we will happily pay whatever the higher price may be especially when it comes to products for our kids. But to build this flimsy of a product and charge us $50 for it? I mean we have 2 kids, thats $100 for this substandard item. Youve got to be kidding me. We happily returned ours. I recommend that you avoid the hassle and stay away from this item.

> 24 hourI waited to review this until we had used it a while. I bought it for my 4 year old for Christmas, and it is now almost June. We travel long distances, and this has really helped make her ride more comfortable. It takes a little bit of trial and error to install it and adjust it for your childs optimal comfort, but its fairly straightforward. I love it because now my child doesnt put her feet on the back of the seats in front, which not only cuts down on the wear and tear on our vehicle, but it also would help prevent an impact injury to her ankles/knees in case of a car accident because she doesnt have her legs braced straight in front of her. What I dont like is that because we have a dirt parking area/driveway, the grit/sand from her shoes gets in all the crevices of the moving parts of this (the adjustment buttons/etc.), and makes it very difficult to adjust later. I have to take it out, clean out the grit, and then adjust it. I actually had to unscrew the covers on the footrest buttons to get the grit out of the springs inside. Its a little troublesome, but I figure such is rural life. The grit/sand also scrubs the shiny finish on the plastic, but that doesnt bother me at all. I would still buy it again even knowing now that the grit/sand is a little obnoxious.
