> 3 dayTried this brand a couple of years back. Implemented this brand again since I’ve embarked on a whole food plant based diet. This was much cheaper than the whole food products as well as more quantity. Will update for quality or other issues. But I liked this product when I did take it a couple years back.

Greater than one weekThis isnt the kind of product you can easily do an instant review on, as it takes MONTHS or even years to see any kind of results. Lacking more information all I can say is I have taken it for like a week. Not making me sick. All I got. Cannot rate Absorbency because WHAT THE HELL? Cannot rate value for money because I dont even know if it is working.

> 3 dayIf youre going to take B-12 you should think about the form you take. The methyl B12 is the natural form of B12 and it doesnt need to be converted by the liver, whereas if you take the other form and it has to be converted it might not be as effective or might not work at all. Also, methyl-B12 should be in a sublingual form, as this is in order to work best. Jarrow Methyl-B12 1000 mcg sublingual lozenges has everything one would want in a B-12. I buy this one for my kids and hubby, while I take 5000 mcg. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe taste and absorbency of the product appears to be ok. However I wish there were not so many other ingredients as listed on the bottle. Shipment arrived the next day as expected. I would purchase again, as the price is very reasonable.

13-11-2024We havent been taking these for very long, about a week and a half. Thats kind of the beauty of it, I can already tell a difference. We took extra of these on our road trip along with our regular vitamins to help keep our energy up. They worked great! This brand was recommended to me by my best friend who is an avid supplement user and researcher. They were recommended to her by her regular doc and also by her brother who is a doc. The price point is spectacular which is the icing on the cake. I have taken other B-12 supplements in the past but none have had such a fast response. I plan to keep re-buying these and I would recommend them.

Greater than one weekThere is a lot to say here but I will try to keep this brief. * Order process: Product ordered, received on time, condition good, etc. etc. Everything fine there. * Why I tried it: Information concerning the; advantages of Methyl form of B12 over other forms; the advantages of the sub-lingual form over others; symptoms that can result from lack of B12; the bodys reduced ability to absorb B12 with age; are all available on the internet already. I wont bother repeating that stuff here. Im getting old enough (60s) that age related reduced absorption could start to become an issue. Wanted to try a sub-lingual form of supplement to see if it would improve my insomnia (B12 required for generation of melatonin), reduced ability of muscles to recover after strenuous exercise (B12 required for cell repair), and maybe other little issues that I had attributed to normal aging. * Dose: I started taking one of these a day. I place it under my tongue and let it slowly dissolve there. I think that others that complain that it doesnt dissolve fast enough and are chewing it are defeating the effectiveness of the supplement. For absorption through mucus membranes percent of absorption will be directly related to length of exposure. You want to try to keep it there as long as possible. (For me its usually almost an hour.) * Results: After a week or so I noticed that I seemed to be sleeping better. I actually started to have dreams; havent done that in almost a decade. Also noticed improvement in muscle recovery after exercise; they dont stay sore for a week or more like they used to. * Other unexpected results: My distance vision seems to have improved. I can read the fine print on the HD TV without my glasses. Couldnt do that before. The spider veins on my legs, that have been developing for the last several years, are going away. First noticed this after a couple of weeks of taking the supplement but didnt believe it. After 4 weeks, defiantly something happening. They change from dark blue/purple to magenta to red to pink and then fade away to the point where they are no longer visible. Its been a couple of months now and I would estimate, at this point, that they are about 70% gone. (My wife started taking this stuff shortly after I did; she is seeing the same improvement.) It seems that my facial hair, which was all gray, seems to be getting darker; some of the normal color is coming back. If I dont shave for a few days it shows more than it used to. * Other changes that could contribute to results: Have only made one other change in diet/lifestyle prior to starting this supplement. Two months before starting the B12 I looked at our sodium intake in response to a different condition that my wife has; found that it was quite high. As a result we reduced our dietary sodium intake by a lot. I did not notice the changes mentioned above until after we started taking the B12 but the reduced sodium intake could be a contributing factor to the improvements.

> 3 day1000 mg made me jittery after a few days. I cut it d own to once every 3 days and now I can tolerate it. I can tell you this works and it works WELL. My MD told me to only buy Jarrow Methyl B-12, I dont know why. But it works very fast and will zing you out, so watch for it and reduce dose if needed.

> 3 dayIve been using this product for a few years and just read the label yesterday and found that you only take it every 2 to 3 days. I was taking it every day, but I guess because Im 75, its OK. Now, Im taking it every other day. Dont notice any problems, but like to follow the rules. I take B-100 Complex also because I have hypoglycemia. I read where B-12 is good for older people because we dont make our own anymore. Good brand and Amazon.com is great!

Greater than one weekBought this at the recommendation of my doctor as she said that I needed to increase my B12 intake. She also specified that the methylcobalamin version of B12 is better than the other more commonly seen cyanocobalamin and that a sublingual version provides better absorption than a swallowed version. A lot of the sublingual tablets are cherry flavored and I hate cherry so I thought that a lemon option would be good. To be honest this doesnt really taste like lemon to me it just tastes generically sweet which isnt bad I guess. It does take a long time to dissolve which I guess is good to give your body ample time to be able to absorb this sublingually but sometimes I get impatient and end up chewing and swallowing the last 20% of the tablet.
