> 3 dayLove it , perfect for my 30 gallon :) I am able to place one hot hide directly on top of it and one medium temp half on and half off giving my gecko three temperature rage hides to hang out in , this is my 2nd I have bought and my hammy enjoys a nap on the smallest heating pad they have :) not just for lizards . I have been thinking of buying my birds one for really cold nights :)

Greater than one weekCrappy. It never got as warm as it said it would. It was adhered to the tank on the bottom and never touched again, yet it still fell apart.

Greater than one weekThermostat works excellent. Reads temperature accurately. That is about where the good ends for us. This unit was used on the 20 gallon terrarium for a ribbon snake with wood bedding. Terrarium had about two or three inches of wood bedding and the best we could get with the padding placed under the terrarium was about four or five degrees above ambient temperature. We covered the top of the tank to help try to keep more heat in, I thinned out the bedding over the heating area so there wasnt so much insulation over the pad and did not help. Ultimately ended up buying a heat lamp which works much better in our case.

Greater than one weekIt’s great! My room is in the basement of my house so it’s way too cold for my lizard. This completely fixes the problem!

> 3 dayThis is the second heater I have bought from this company. First was smaller 6x12 on a 20 gallon tank. I purchased this larger (Allegedly for 50 gallon tank) and temps are lower (Worse) with the larger and yes I’ve used thermostat control and direct. I have to use heat lamps to make temps correct for terrarium. Also using 2 separate thermostats to verify it is t thermostat issue.

> 3 dayGot this on Feb 28th, installed it under my snake tank on march 3rd and the Pad has already lost power and will not heat up the tank. I followed all instructions carefully I am very disappointed

> 3 dayIve been messing around with the temps and Ive been keeping it around 90, you can feel a little heat by just touching the glass but with soil/bedding you cant feel any, I ordered thermometers/humidity gauge to see if it really works or not but I doubt it considering the soil is cool and nothing feels warm

> 3 dayI was worried that this pad would be too hot, but it is barely warm and only heats the tank to 2 degrees above ambient. No concern that snake will get burned, thats for sure. In fact, too cold for snake. Must buy another product. Ill try with a thermostat (ordered and on the way), but that doubles the cost of the purchase. Not sure why this mat is not putting out sufficient heat. *update* it may be that I had the thermometer probe placed too far from where mat was heating, but I thought the whole area on the side of the tank with the mat would get warm, and it didnt. I bought a different brand mat that is performing better. A thermostat does regulate temperature well.
