Great little under tank heater

Heats up ok. Thought it didnt work but the thermostat I ordered wasnt working right. I will update later as to how well this mat works. I have it attached to the side of the tank for hermit crabs and it has stayed on so far but not being used yet.

Easy to install and works great!

So far so good, Ive been using this for about a month with only one minor complaint. The heat source the mat produces is centralized more in the middle, Id prefer a more even spread of the heat. A thermostat is a must btw, this mat gets way to hot if you dont regulate it.

Im very happy with this heat pad, it was cheaper then anything in store, and it works great,it was very easy to install. im going to buy another one for another tank.

Works well and haven’t had any problems with it

I noticed my snake moved her cave away from the heat pad area. So I moved it back. Several times till I put my hand on the bottom of the tank where she would lay. I couldn’t keep it there long. This pad is far too hot. So I have un stuck it from the tank, and hope the air space will provide the difference to make the right heat. We will see. Very disappointed. If my snake had of gotten under the tank surface she would have cooked.

This is working perfectly to keep the substrait warm in our Hermit crab habitat! It even keeps the air at a nice 74 degrees. We have a 12x12x12 terrarium with an open top.
