> 3 dayGlue not sufficient. Fell off of tank glass within 2 months at 90 degrees regulated. Heat is good, but glue is not. Back to the market, I guess. Can’t return it.

26-10-2024Im using this to heat up resin for my 3D printer. I live it, because it is versatile enough to heat a vat and a bottle at the same time as my build plate!

> 3 dayI used this for hatchling ball python tank I am supposed to receive in about two weeks. Good thing i tried it out before i got the snake because this thing DOESNT get any hotter than 84 degrees! And thats 84 degrees to the pad not to my enclosure! My temperature reads 74 inside the tank and 78 inside the hot spot hide. Returning for all my money and going to petsmart for a reliable one.... waste of time and money

Greater than one weekThis is a decent price for a heat mat with thermostat, BUT I wouldn’t recommend for an animal. These cheap versions aren’t safe and can have variable temps that could burn your reptile. Don’t go cheap for an animal! If you need this for plants or insect raising, I’d recommend.

> 3 daySeemed to be made good, just didnt heat the tank like I expected. I really dont think it heated the tank at all. I hate I had this experience, especially cause its a good deal. Looking back, Id spend a little more money next time.

> 3 dayThe heat bad could barely stay in the 90’s I ended up disconnecting the thermostat because it wouldn’t go over 90 degree for my African fat tail geckos. About 1 month later I do my routine heat check with my heat gun and notice both tanks where I used this heat mat was room temperature (84 degrees) don’t waste your money. Zoo Med’s heat mats are better. I have one that been used for 6 months and holds a 90-95 connected to a controlled thermostat very well.

Greater than one weekI plugged this in and set it up under my snakes tank. A few hours later I checked the temp and it was at 65 (set on 92). A day later, it is at 62. I’m returning it. Waste of money.
