Hot Cams 7.48mm Complete Shim Kit HCSHIM01 for Honda CRF Kawasaki KX Suzuki RMZ Yamaha WR YZ Dirt Bikes

The labels on each of the shims are not clear. Have to use a caliper to see the actual size of each shim.

I ordered the 7.48mm kit and received the 9.48mm kit with a 7.48 label slapped over the 9.48 original. I hear good things about Hotcams products, but have yet to use them.

This kit worked OK for what I needed. Would have been nice to be able to find a kit that has smaller incremental sizes, as I used all 3 of one size and 2 of two other sizes. To clear up the confusion, I have a 16 valve 4 cylinder with 7 valves out of specification. I found the shims to be of the marked size but a couple of them had markings that were difficult to read, so hoped the compartment (size) they were in was correct. Remember to double check your new clearances after installation as I did. The final result was a quick start and quiet running engine.

Not much to say solid product, must-have for any modern 4 stroke if you plan on keeping it for a while

The quality of the product is good but they sent the wrong size! I was sent 9.48mm shims. Someone stuck a 7.48mm shim sticker over the 9.48mm sticker. Just awful quality assurance.

Bought this kit way cheaper than paying for valve adjustment and now can do many more for free. easy to do, just get youtube certified for your specific bike... lol

Used this 7.48mm OD kit for my Yamaha FZ07, selected shims I needed matched the laser etched markings on measurement. None were rusty, the foam pad kept the shims from getting mixed up once the kit is shut. Thanks!

Ill never order from any other shim company. Exact measurements and my bike runs great now. Definitely recomend to others. Even come with a mini magnafying glass for people with troubled vision!
