> 3 dayUsed this kit to replace the shims in my 2006 Honda Ruckus. Which means these shims also fit a Honda Metropolitan. Basically a lifetime supply of shims for these small scooters.

> 3 daythe description says they are 7.48mm diameter shins which is what i need for my 2007 crf 250. they sent me 9.5mm shims. luckily i can use these for my 2004 trx450r but i need to adjust the valves in my bike. disappointed. otherwise always a great product from hot cams but here it was the seller marketing the wrong item..

> 3 dayFYI, these shims are NOT made in Taiwan. It says right on the case Made in India. There is a difference, maybe also in quality. The rest of the description appears accurate.

> 3 dayThis kit worked OK for what I needed. Would have been nice to be able to find a kit that has smaller incremental sizes, as I used all 3 of one size and 2 of two other sizes. To clear up the confusion, I have a 16 valve 4 cylinder with 7 valves out of specification. I found the shims to be of the marked size but a couple of them had markings that were difficult to read, so hoped the compartment (size) they were in was correct. Remember to double check your new clearances after installation as I did. The final result was a quick start and quiet running engine.

> 3 dayProduct came completely mixed up from shipping so I had to empty and sort. Found out they didnt put any 2.10 shims and put 6 2.15 shims. I bought for dirtbikes so I do not need to go that high but it still sucks.

> 3 dayDid not include 3 of each (some had just one, some had five per) but its enough that itll last me. I was concerned about wear rates so I contacted the manufacturer and they said these will hold up in my kawasaki zx6r. With the shim kits there are just so many applications that we can’t list them all on the site. The shims will hold up just fine in your ZX6R as they hold up well in many street bike applications. They are heat treated steel so there shouldn’t be any issues with them.

> 3 dayWorked great for my 06 Yamaha R6. Gave 4 stars because when they arrived they were all mixed up. Took me a while to separate them into the right sizes. Not a big deal but did take a while to resort them. Definitely need a better organizer for shipping, but other than that they worked great.

Greater than one weekShipping was quick and the product was what I expected. The sizes on the shims matched what the calipers said and now my bike runs again. Theres nothing bad to say about Hot Cams shims.

> 3 dayUsed in my 14 Ninja 300 after 30k miles of not being maintained. The shims accuracy was usable, I checked each one with a micrometer and was able to account for the very minor differences between the shims, and used that to my advantage to cheat up or down the gap. Definitely recommend a kit over buying individual shims, I did have to go back and redo a valve or two to ensure proper clearance, but was able to get the job done nicely.
