Bought this kit for my 1998 ZX9R. Every shim in the kit is etched .05mm larger than what it actually is. The shims are still good, just double check the thickness before use. If you do not plan on adjusting a lot of valves, hot shims sales refill packs if you know what it is needed. The part numbers look like this - 5PK748290 (5PK is the quantity, 748 is the diameter, and 290 is the thickness). If you have a different diameter or need a different thickness, substitute those numbers in place of the ones mentioned. Refill kits can be found for around $6.

Bought these over a year ago now and am very glad I did. Set works great and I saved lots of money after putting several thousand miles on my 2006 Suzuki GSX-R.

This product has all different sized shims. Perfect for My crf250x. If you dont know what youre doing then take it to a shop because of you get them wrong its bad for your engine!

So many different sizes allow me to be precise. Give me a good foundation to get things started I can always order specific ones that I use more of.

Not much to say solid product, must-have for any modern 4 stroke if you plan on keeping it for a while

I verified every shim before use and all where within spec. Size and fit was very good on the bike. Box is very useful to store many shims.

Shipping was quick and the product was what I expected. The sizes on the shims matched what the calipers said and now my bike runs again. Theres nothing bad to say about Hot Cams shims.

This kit worked OK for what I needed. Would have been nice to be able to find a kit that has smaller incremental sizes, as I used all 3 of one size and 2 of two other sizes. To clear up the confusion, I have a 16 valve 4 cylinder with 7 valves out of specification. I found the shims to be of the marked size but a couple of them had markings that were difficult to read, so hoped the compartment (size) they were in was correct. Remember to double check your new clearances after installation as I did. The final result was a quick start and quiet running engine.

They worked. Definitely had to get creative because there wasnt really enough of some sizes. Wish I could buy in a pack with 5 of each size (20 valves). Used on a 2009 Yamaha FZ1.
