> 24 hourRidiculously annoying noise. I RMAd it and the replacement had exactly the same sound.

> 24 hourThis is a used drive, that is in near fail state. SMART log indicates that this drive has 5 failed sectors and has been in use for over 12,000 hours. This item is clearly represented as new and nowhere is it noted that it has been used for extensive amount of time previously. Stay away unless you want to risk your drive failing and loosing all your data within months.

> 24 hourI first got this drive to be a backup but I liked it so well that I bought another for a system drive in a medium quality gaming computer. The first one is 3 years old and is rock solid. No problems at all from either drive. Over the past 15 years Ive switched back and forth between WD and Seagate drives, but I am becoming a quick fan of these Hitachi drives even though they are a WD product in essence. It may be mind over matter, but I do like this brand. Will buy again from Amazon when I need another one.

> 24 hourI got this 25 days ago and its been on for about 200 hours since then. I read the other guys review saying it was used when he got it, so I wanted to see for myself. I just checked its disk history, and sure enough, its been on for 13368 hours, or 557 days. Definitely not new. Its working fine, but its going to have a shorter life than a new one.
