> 3 dayMy granddaughter was a preemie and my daughter needed something to monitor her weight. We were so happy to have found this. It works wonderful when child is breastfed also. Easier to monitor how much baby has consumed. Best gift I found for our preemie

> 3 dayLOVE. I bought this with the sole purpose of weighing my baby before and after nursing to see how much he was eating and it does an impeccable job. I was on the fence because I thought it was ridiculous to pay so much for a scale that I didn’t “need” and was more for peace of mind but I am SO glad I splurged and got this scale. The peace of mind is worth every penny of always knowing if he is eating enough. 4 stars because it is pretty hard and cold (but lightweight which is nice) so we keep a blanket on top of it so he is more comfortable during changes/weighing but the scale will 0 out with the blanket on there just fine. Just make sure not even a tiny corner of the blanket is touching the table surface and is 100% only on the pad because the scale is THAT sensitive which is great! Absolutely would recommend!

Greater than one weekWith my first born I struggled with my supply and was encouraged multiple times to supplement because he was under the 25th percentile (really nothing wrong with that!). He is a perfectly healthy 2 year old in the 85th percentile now. Looking back having this scale then would probably have driven me mad. I was already obsessing and this would have given me even more to obsess about. My 3 month old daughter is steadily riding the 75th percentile and my supply is fine. So having this now is not a necessity but I do love monitoring her weight and measuring how much she takes at the breast. She doesnt love bottles and I always struggle to figure out how much my mom or husband should give her when Im at work. This gave me an idea of how much she typically eats in a sitting when nursing. Its nice to look at and easy to clean. I also like to know how much my kids weigh between doc appointments so i can be prepared with proper dosing for meds if necessary.

> 3 dayAs a breastfeeding mother with a baby that has reflux, feedings can be very difficult. My son would cry after every feeding, leaving me to wonder if hes still hungry or if its just the reflux. I knew I wanted a scale that could measure his feedings accurately and the Hatch advertises that it weighs to .25 ounces. However, I noticed early on that the scale was not accurate. At night, my baby is fed a bottle of pumped breast milk and I would always measure out 4 oz. in a bottle. However, when I would weigh my baby after the feeding, it consistently came up as 3.5 ounces. or even 3.25 ounces. I also once tried with a 1 ounce bottle and it showed up as taking in .5 ounces. When youre trying to calculate how much your baby is taking in per day over 8-10 feedings, a difference of .5-.75 ounces adds up. Some other cons: -Weight can only be checked with the app. This makes it easy to keep track of things as the data is stored on their app but its annoying at 2am when you cannot find your phone. Pros: -Great customer service -Sleek looking product -Nicely designed and easy to use app Ultimately, I decided to return this product due to the inaccuracy but would consider buying again if some enhancements were made to the product to fix it.

> 3 dayI wish I had known about this changing pad a year ago. My granddaughter had a difficult first year and was in and out of the hospital. Her parents and doctors were very concerned about and carefully monitored her weight and fluid intake. This would have been so helpful to her parents -- who waited anxiously for her doctors appointments to monitor her growth. I bought this, but the baby is now over a hear old and too wiggly to get accurate readings. The pad itself is very comfortable and easily cleaned, but it would be more appropriate and useful for younger babies (which is why I gave it only 4 stars). Also, you need to be sure you have space in your phone because an app needs to be installed to use the weighing scale feature.

Greater than one weekTheres a lot to like. But putting in times is SUPER annoying. The AM/PM it defaults to doesnt make sense, it doesnt keep your time when you need to edit it (say you put in 12:15 and it wrongly had PM so you go to change it to AM - it defaults back to the current time as opposed to just letting you edit the time you already saved - super annoying). You cannot tell it to default to numeric entry - it always defaults back to the clock view. The AM/PM indicator has TERRIBLE contrast, so Im usually picking the wrong one. Some of the features are hidden in menus - hard to find the bluetooth link to weigh the baby. Length measures are also in a strange place. Ive had issues with zeroing out the scale a few times as well, which was annoying with a squirming infant in hand. Better than the alternatives - Yes, Id say so. But amazing? Falls short of that

> 3 dayMy sister is expecting her first baby soon and plans to breastfeed. When our first child was born a few years ago he struggled to gain weight in his first month. We hired a lactation consultant and took him to the doctor for bi-weekly weight checks. This product would have been a life saver for us! Knowing how much milk your baby is drinking with each feed is reassuring to any nursing mom and provides useful info for your pediatrician as they monitor your babys growth. Combining the smart scale with a modern changing pad is such a great idea. I know this will look great on her changing table and cant wait to give this to her at her baby shower!

> 3 dayLove this product! My intent was to breastfeed my little one. However, when I brought him home, we had several issues including tongue tie, lack of milk supply and difficulties latching. It was disheartening to see how much time we would spend breastfeeding without knowing the actual results on demand. We would have to wait for the pediatricians appt to know if we were successful or not with weight gain from breast feeding. This was super stressful for a new mom. With the hatch baby grow, I can effectively monitor weight gain and how much my little one is drinking with each breast feeding session! Highly recommend!

> 3 dayExtremely displeased with this product and returning. The app requires an upgrade to even connect to the scale/pad, but refuses to udate. Ive tried everything to get it to connect and it continues to fail. I contacted the support desk via email and hear nothing waited a week and contacted again and nothing. Then I called their support number and got a message that they are no longer taking live calls. Without the app the scale feature is nonexistent so I have a 150 dollar piece of plastic with straps.
