> 3 dayWhat a great product! Began using right away and noticed some inconsistencies so I emailed customer support. And lo and behold, it was because I set it up incorrectly! Since it’s such a precise scale if it’s touching the sides of the changing table it will record that as part of my babies weight, who would’ve known?! You guys, this product is so great! Not to mention it’s sold by a company that stands behind it 100%. I’ll be buying one for baby shower gifts from now on. The fact that you can easily weigh your baby on the same surface as changing them is perfect! Don’t get me started on measuring breast-feedings because WOW!! No more worries about how much my baby is eating. Buy one, it’s worth it!

> 3 day1. Nicely designed, simple and sturdy! The material grips any surface and you dont have to worry about it moving around. The design is also sleek and fits nicely on top of my babys dresser. 2. The smart scale is game changing. I had encountered so many feeding issues with my first baby that I knew I needed a scale at home with the second. I cant tell you how exhausting and stressful it was to go to the hospital every 2 days to check my babys weight and ensure he was getting enough milk. The scale and app work flawlessly and are pretty easy to use. 3. Its a changing pad too so one less bulky item to keep around! Very easy to clean which is a plus when you have a new born for sure. I highly recommend this product, especially for new moms. It will bring you so much reassurance and take the guessing out of a stressful situation!

> 3 dayThis scale is nice to have to track a babys weight. Honestly, after about 2 weeks youre probably going to forget/not care anymore about regularly tracking weight. The app is pretty good. You have to randomly zero out the scale about half the time, but not the other half which is annoying. You can calculate how much a baby eats by weighing before and after a feeding, but again, half the time the app glitches and erases the initial weight. The changing pad itself is cold and slick. My baby spends the whole diaper change in a moro position with arms and legs outstretched, rocking back and forth and sliding around way more than on any other type of surface. The contours arent very high so without the little belt to hold him down (which falls off the scale way too easily), he seems very at risk of rolling himself off. Hes only 3w old so when hes actually able to move around even more, I cant imagine how easily he could roll himself off. But that kinda slick material is easy to clean, so theres your trade-off.

> 3 dayExtremely displeased with this product and returning. The app requires an upgrade to even connect to the scale/pad, but refuses to udate. Ive tried everything to get it to connect and it continues to fail. I contacted the support desk via email and hear nothing waited a week and contacted again and nothing. Then I called their support number and got a message that they are no longer taking live calls. Without the app the scale feature is nonexistent so I have a 150 dollar piece of plastic with straps.

> 3 dayTheres a lot to like. But putting in times is SUPER annoying. The AM/PM it defaults to doesnt make sense, it doesnt keep your time when you need to edit it (say you put in 12:15 and it wrongly had PM so you go to change it to AM - it defaults back to the current time as opposed to just letting you edit the time you already saved - super annoying). You cannot tell it to default to numeric entry - it always defaults back to the clock view. The AM/PM indicator has TERRIBLE contrast, so Im usually picking the wrong one. Some of the features are hidden in menus - hard to find the bluetooth link to weigh the baby. Length measures are also in a strange place. Ive had issues with zeroing out the scale a few times as well, which was annoying with a squirming infant in hand. Better than the alternatives - Yes, Id say so. But amazing? Falls short of that

> 3 dayIt works well until it doesn’t. The foot broke off of the base and it doesn’t work anymore, was only able to use for a few months. It wasn’t worth the cost due to the limited use.

> 3 dayThe Hatch Baby Grow is easy-to-use and stylish — but most importantly, it has helped relieve a lot of anxiety in our new family. Our son was born small and lost too much weight in his first few days, so our entire focus has been on fattening him up. When we first got home from hospital, it was very stressful feeding him without knowing how much weight he was actually gaining. My wife was recovering from a c-section, which made it very difficult to leave the house to weigh him regularly. I was surprised at how quick it was to set up and pair with our phones. I particularly like being able to track and review all of his key metrics — from his weight to his dirty nappies and bottles — in one easy-to-use app. As a bonus, my wife says the design looks great in the nursery, and its way easier to clean then having to battle fabric covers.

> 3 dayI bought this product because I am still recovering from labor and am unable to leave the house to do a weighted feed anywhere. My baby lost a bit too much weight between birth and the first pediatrician visit. I wanted to be sure she was eating enough and gaining enough weight between that visit and her one month visit. We had our one month visit today, and her weight is very consistent with what this scale has been showing. The consistent weights along with the weighted feeds works great. I was happily surprised that the scale locks on easily to the baby when shes wiggling. The weighted feed also appears to be accurate; I have done it several times over the last few days and it shows a range consistent with how long my baby is feeding and her weight/what she should be eating for her age. Considering this duals as a changing pad, I wish Id have bought this before buying a changing pad. As a scale alone, it does a great job. I will echo what others have mentioned on the cons side that opening the app can be annoying when you have a crying baby, but Im not sure what solution there is to that since the app also lets you log diapers, pumping, feeding, etc. Its a great app. It also does round to the .25 oz, which is fine for my baby because she wasnt a premie, but may not work for people who need more accurate amounts.
