Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad and Scale

This product is amazing!! My husband and I were having such anxiety about how much milk my baby was getting early on as I was breast feeding...this scale took all that anxiety away. I love weighing my son before and after feeds. Turns out, he eats, A LOT! I really feel like this product helped me not give up on breast feeding. Its a very sleek design and aesthetically pleasing. I dont like things that are too bulky: this product is the opposite. The app that you download with it is very user friendly...and I LOVE seeing my child grow on the growth curve. I look forward to continuing use of the product as my baby grows! I can imagine it would also be good to check my kids weight if he ever gets sick (vomiting, diarrhea) to make sure he is not losing weight. Overall, love the function and appearance of this product! Very happy with it! I am excited to use it for every kid I have!

i have one foster cat who is obese and one of my own cats who is too thin, so i wanted to be able to monitor their weights. i wanted a scale that didnt have a wobbly metal or shelf to put the animal on or anything that otherwise might spook and frighten them. this one is PERFECT for that. i put it near where the cat eats, and it naturally goes to sit on it to clean itself after all. i weigh it during that brief time. brilliant. BUT. for reasons i cannot guess, the app can track only two animals. period. so my original hope was to track all my pets and fosters, deleting fosters eventually and maybe storing their data in a google sheet in case they came back to me. my own animals are already four to track (well, three bc one dog is larger than this permits). so i could track *only* those two cats. to track another animal at some point, ill have to copy ones data to a google sheet, then rename it in the app and pretend not to know about the previous weights. (maybe theres a way to delete and create a new one, but i havent really looked for or found it yet.) so, perfect for one or two animals. annoying but still pretty awesome if you want to track more.

This is the Tesla of changing pads and scales. Its smart, sexy, sophisticated, simple, and essential! Every baby mama needs a changing pad so why not have the one with all the pverrbial bells and whistles, but without a single button! The design is brilliant! We dont tend to fuss too much about how much the bebe is pooping or eating but we love tracking her weight. It took a bit of effort to figure out how to set it up but once we got it going its been a dream. Im going to look for a cover (even though I love the simplicity of the look as is) because its a cold surface for a naked lil body. For now, I just put a cloth diaper or small blanket down before changing her if shes undressed.

Bought this when my son was 3 months, have been using it for 3 weeks now and I really wish I would have known about it when he was brand new! I think it would have helped with our breastfeeding journey from the start! To make a long story short we started off struggling and after 3 months I finally saw an IBCLC and bought this scale to do my own weighted feeds. Wish I would have done both a long time ago! It’s a very accurate scale. I gave my son a 4 oz bottle and weighed him, was spot on! Absolutely worth every penny! The convenience of it being all on the app makes it very easy to use. Love everything about it! No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend!

The scale is okay. Sometimes itll give you wildly different results right in a row, but usually its pretty close. Be extremely careful with the feet. They break off easily, and if that happens the scale portion becomes unusable and it cannot be repaired, essentially making it a very expensive changing pad.

What a great product! Began using right away and noticed some inconsistencies so I emailed customer support. And lo and behold, it was because I set it up incorrectly! Since it’s such a precise scale if it’s touching the sides of the changing table it will record that as part of my babies weight, who would’ve known?! You guys, this product is so great! Not to mention it’s sold by a company that stands behind it 100%. I’ll be buying one for baby shower gifts from now on. The fact that you can easily weigh your baby on the same surface as changing them is perfect! Don’t get me started on measuring breast-feedings because WOW!! No more worries about how much my baby is eating. Buy one, it’s worth it!

Overall this is really nice scale, which we use as our primary changing pad in our nursery. The quality is top-notch, in particular the ability to easily clean it, and the integration with the hatch baby app is nice. We used this on a daily basis to track our sons weight gain until he was back up to birth weight, and having the scale integrated into the changing pad meant we could weigh him as we were changing his diapers, rather than having to do it separately. The accuracy also seems quite good, with weights being in line with what we get at the doctors office, plus or minus a quarter ounce. My one complaint is that it nails the advanced scenarios but falls short on a basic one: theres no read out of the weight on the device, which means you need to connect your phone or tablet via bluetooth in order to get the readout, and sometimes you just dont have that many hands. On the whole, though, its great.

1. Nicely designed, simple and sturdy! The material grips any surface and you dont have to worry about it moving around. The design is also sleek and fits nicely on top of my babys dresser. 2. The smart scale is game changing. I had encountered so many feeding issues with my first baby that I knew I needed a scale at home with the second. I cant tell you how exhausting and stressful it was to go to the hospital every 2 days to check my babys weight and ensure he was getting enough milk. The scale and app work flawlessly and are pretty easy to use. 3. Its a changing pad too so one less bulky item to keep around! Very easy to clean which is a plus when you have a new born for sure. I highly recommend this product, especially for new moms. It will bring you so much reassurance and take the guessing out of a stressful situation!

I could not be happier with this scale...I really couldnt. Our child is on the lower end of the weight percentiles. Every ounce matters...and we found that the time between doctors visits was too long to react to him not gaining weight. In comes Hatch! For not much more money than any other quality scale (basically double from a nice scale), you buy into a nice changing pad that is also a smart scale. I love the integration with the app. We were using the app Sprout before, but the Hatch app (which the scale needs to use) is a good stand in for sprout. If you are in the market for a smart scale, do not hesitate to buy this one. It is very much worth the premium in price.

I love this changing table with the scale it erased so much stress while breastfeeding if my little guy was getting enough/ putting weight on in the first couple weeks! Now it’s just nice to see his progress between pediatrician appointments
