Global 7 Vegetable Knife

ive been using this knife for about a decade now pretty much exclusively. its light and handles well and can do most anything i ask of it. blade have never required professional sharpening despite constant use (i go over it a few times with a ceramic steel when i use it). no rusting or staining to speak of. ive used lots of different knives, from ginsu to high end german and this one is the answer for me. i expect to use this knife daily till i die

The design of this knife is perfect for slicing and chopping vegetables and fruits like melons.. Very sharp and makes quick work of halving a large onion or dicing squash. Those who are used to a pointed chefs knife may find it a bit awkward at first but I find a pointed knife does not work as well as this one. The squared off end makes it easy to use both hands if necessary to attack a particularly hard vegetable with ease

from this point on i will only be buying Global knives. that is if i ever need any more knives. these should last even for my grandchildren to use

Like all Global knives, the 7 inch vegetable knife is razor sharp and seems to hold its edge. I would get the shorter version of Global’s vegetable knife rather than the 7 inch version as the larger knife can feel heavy and less maneuverable.

Love this knife. I have several Shun Classic knives. This knife stays sharper longer....and has become my go to knife for all activities. It will slice through a tomato...paper thin. It makes slicing vegetables for a veggie soup a dream. Love Love Love it. I purchased the Minosharp hand sharpener and touch it up on a monthly basis. I have had the knife for about two years and it is still performing wonderfully. Do not hesitate...buy it!
