Genie GSTB-R STB-BL Replacement Safety Beams, Black, 2 Pack, Black, one size (GSTB-R)

This is the third set of these I have installed on my door opener. The newer design of this unit makes it less vulnerable to sunlight shining directly on the sensors. Durability is unknown so it got 3 stars. Otherwise it works great. Installation was a snap.

Easy install worked immediately

Took me a whole 15 minutes to install. Perfect fit for my needs.

These are replacements (upgraded?) models for the older, discontinued square version sensors. The only problem is the brackets dont quite match the older brackets. Just be prepared to make new holes to mount these. Other than that they work fine.

I bought these as replacements for my older model sensors. They work as advertised.

Kept our 20-year old garage door working just fine. No need to replace anything major.

Very easy to install. Don’t even need the instructions if your genie already has the wiring installed. Basically unscrew and remove wires and screw in the exact same spot with the wires connected. Mine only had 2 wires and it did not matter where either wire went on the new sensor. This replace my old ones that were damaged to sunlight. 5/5.
