I ordered these as a replacement for my Overhead Door brand system that was installed in 2009. I installed them over 1 year ago and they work perfectly with my system. I did have to remove the old mounting brackets for the old sensors because these ones are mounted differently, but it was not too hard.

Easy to install. Better performance and more streamlined than the original. Original is a box that sticks out far enough that you can run into it with your vehicles wheels. Current design installs flush with the garage door rails.

Different than the one that came out but works the same

Works very well with my older door opener.

As with another reviewer, Hurricane Sandy brought flood water into my garage shorting out the OEM sensors. Was easy to install these as replacements. Worked with no trouble.

My old ones kept giving me trouble when in direct sunlight. These are working perfectly.
