I have to agree I absolutely love this stuff! What I do though is get the 50 lb bags of play sand and just add two bags of this to mix it up! Results:Best of the Best Substrate for your Hermit crabs!!

I do not recommend this product because i replaced my sand from petco with this sand my hermits seemed to do fine then my very active crab quit being active and my other crab refuses to come out of his hiding spot and couple days later I noticed my hermit crab that used to be super active COVERED in mites. Now I have to boil and replace all the sand soil and make sure my hermits are okay all because I used this sand.

I went to scoop this sand and its so clumped together its impossible. But while I was stirring it around, there were little jumping bugs in it!

This sand is so dirty that I have to wash it like 20 time before use.

Love this brand. Better quality than most. Worth ordering this over the pet store brands.
