Product came with ants in the sand.

I mixed with the coconut fiber for my hermies and they love digging in and out of their hide outs.

My kids Hermit Crabs do not like wet sand, and all 3 of these bags of sand contained sand that was clumpy and wet. If your crabs like wet sand then I would recommend this for the value, but some of them do not like wet sand and this sand is definitely wet.

My hermits love it. They burrow all day long and seem nice and cozy. Easy to clean, I just keep it lousy and scoop off the top layer.

Crabs seem to like it, it’s nice for them to tunnel in and hide underneath. Stays moist for a long time helping with humidity and I haven’t noticed any issues so far. You just need to buy multiple bags to get it deep enough for them, and depending on the size of your tank it may be quite a lot of bags if you aren’t mixing with anything else like coir.

Love this sand! It’s very soft.
