I could have just bought sand, because thats all this was.

The bag was open and sand was everywhere half of the bag was all in the box wasted

It ships quickly and arrives without damage. It feels like real sand. not the fake sand on pretty tourist beaches. It is moist when it arrives. True to size. Enough for a small enclosure. Need 2 for 10 gal tank unless mixing with other substrates.

My little critters seems to like this sand best.

My crabs LOVE this stuff! It doesnt seem to stick to them and they love to dig in it.

PLEASE don’t use this for hermit crabs! It will solidify in there shells when it’s wet. Trapping them inside. I recommend play sand and coconut fibers mixed together 5:1

Was worried due to some of the reviews but my 2 hermits love the sand. I mix with ecoearth in the tank however. Have not had any problems with sand in their shells. They are happy little hermit crabs and I’m one happy pet owner.
