> 24 hourInstalled the first bulb in the beginning of Jan. 2020 and it is now near the end of Feb, and the first one have not stopped working. I run these at 10hr per day, at about 4 inches from the rock for the turtles. So it probably does get a little splashes from the filter creating a waterfall. Only thing I did, was not touch it with my fingers during the install, but instead used a paper towel. Heat wise, 25W is good enough for my setup. Sometimes the turtles relax a bit off from the beam so maybe it is a bit too warm at times. They say a heating lamp like this would improve the turtles health and responsiveness, and it did a bit but I seen mines were very happy when the water was warm, in the mid 80s. So, dont forget a water heater for your turtles. Update May 21st 2020 The first lamp is still running bright and hot. I honestly do not know how this one would last since January at 10hr per day. I cant say the others in the pack would last this long until I have the chance to replace the first.

> 24 hourThe bulbs I was sent had zero uvb rays even though its advertised and says it on the small sticker on the box. My red eared slider that is a year and a half old just died tonight bc of lack of vitamin D which is produced from the uvb. I took her to the vet last week and that was the diagnosis. I bought a uvb tester and there was absolutely no uvb showing up. I went and bought an actual uvb bulb from petsmart but it was too late to save her. She was just getting heat from these bulbs. If you buy these bulbs please test them for UVB before using them on your pet so that you dont end up writing a review on here while bawling your eyes out. I hate myself for buying these!! And this was a brand new bulb...not one that had been used for weeks or months!

> 24 hourI bought these lights to replace a cheap heat bulb that burnt out after just a couple weeks. I have had this bulb on a 12 hour timer for almost 2 weeks and its been great. 25w is perfect for smaller turtles. The heat output is very consistent, and my Turtles are using their basking site more than ever before!

> 24 hourWe have two separate turtle tanks and put these in both. Ive never seen our turtles look as happy and relaxed as they do under these lights. They stretch and dangle their toes in the water and just look blissed out. Ive never seen them act quite like this. Ive only had them in for a week so I cant speak to their durability, but considering how cheap they are, Im not too concerned. Ive had $15 lights blow out after a month. Now *that* gets my goat... Edit - 4 weeks later, both going strong.

> 24 hourI hated the lights. All four lights only lasted a month. I would never order my turtle lights from here again.
